Following that, Xavia managed to get her family to leave the apartment unit… However, she made sure to make Mark stay behind. After all, it was better to have someone around her to keep her safe.
Alas, not even Mark could get a break as his phone kept on ringing on and on…
“All our orders have been canceled, Mr. Newman, and our investors aren’t looking too pleased either by all the negative press! What should we do?!”
“Mark, what on earth is happening?! Didn’t you say that you didn’t sleep with her? What gives?! If this goes on, our family will be finished!”
Though Mark was troubled by all this, he made sure not to show it. After all, he knew that Xavia had every right to be doing all this…

Though that pleased her, her mind was still far too active for her to relax, and she’d occasionally scroll through social media to try to take her mind off things…
Sadly, their divorce was still a hot topic, and it was only a matter of time before she found angry commenters talking about the situation…
“What?! Let me at her! I’m beating her to death!”
Though she was eventually able to make it back to her apartment, she finally understood what it meant to be treated like a literal cockroach… Was she never going to be able to live a free life again…?
Her train of thought was cut short when her phone began ringing… It was a call from Lily.
“I know you have a grudge against the Taltons, but Stefan is innocent… With that said, could you please continue donating blood to him…? If you do, I’m willing to do anything you say…!”
Naturally, Xavia had nothing against Stefan, but she wasn’t going to let the Taltons off that easily either… With that in mind, she eventually replied…
