Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 2597

Caught off guard by his sudden grasp, the frantic Xavia did her best to retain her calm façade as she replied, “…I thought my silence made it clear. That aside, I find it amusing that you’re still trying to act all high and mighty when you can’t even stand on your own legs! Just give it up already, you crippled man!”

Watching as she walked away, the infuriated man couldn’t help but smash a nearby bonsai plant to the floor! She was that sure that he’d never be able to stand again, huh…?! If only she knew that his doctor had told him that he was closer to recovering than ever this morning…! Would she still be this cocky once she learned about this…?!

It was shortly after when Nathan wheeled Zivon out of the courthouse… and barely a minute later, they were greeted by the sight of Xavia getting swarmed by countless reporters and citizens, all swearing angrily at her.

Pursing his lips a little, Nathan muttered, “…Should we help-”

“No,” interrupted Zivon, instantly shocking Nathan.

Just how hurt was Zivon to completely neglect his wife’s safety…? If only he knew that she had completely ruined her reputation just for his sake… At the end of the day, both of them were equally as pitiful…

As Zivon was wheeled off, Xavia, who had noticed them earlier, couldn’t help but smile bitterly. So… She had hurt him enough for him to just walk off even when she was in trouble, huh…? That was good… That meant that his legs were now closer than ever to healing. She just needed to push a little further…

Though she had already passed out by then, Mark quickly picked the unconscious woman up before bolting off into his car…

As the car drove off, Zivon, who had been watching from afar, couldn’t help but sneer. At the end of the day, she no longer needed him, so why was he still worrying about her…?!

It was shortly later when he met up with his doctor… and after clearing his throat, the doctor said, “It hurts me to know how much you’ve suffered because of that vile woman… But putting her aside, I’ve given your recent results a look, and I can safely say that there’s an extremely high chance that you’ll be able to walk again within the month! There was a silver lining to all this after all…!”
