Watching as the investigators bolted off, Nathan couldn’t help but sigh a little. He was telling them to look into things even though he was the one who set the fire, huh…? What a great actor! Still, Nathan couldn’t deny that he felt joy in seeing how pathetic Liam now looked…

Shaking his head, Nathan then quickly joined the investigators… and after a while, he returned to Zivon’s side and said, “…It seems that there’s not much to see here… Let’s go meet the old master and Young Master Liam instead.”

It was clear that Nathan was saying that there was no evidence left behind, so after giving a nod, Zivon replied, “…Very well.”

Moving back to Liam and Hershel, they were both able to be saved in time. Even so, the second they saw Zivon walking into the ward, Hershel was quick to ask, “D-did they manage to put the fire out?! How’s the house?! Is the house fine?!”

“And what about Mom?! How is she?!” demanded Liam, prompting Fred to gulp before lowering his gaze.

Looking up, he realized that Zivon was glaring down at him… and after a short pause, the hulking man condescendingly added, “Unlike my mother who died so terribly, yours is still alive, so consider yourself lucky. Regardless, congratulations on surviving that calamity, Brother Liam. May you recover soon.”

Despite his ‘kind’ words, Liam could already deduce that Zivon was the one who had set the house ablaze! Fucking hell…! To think that that bastard would target his mother…!
