Nodding in response, Xavia then closed her eyes and attempted to get some rest. Though she had assumed that she would sleep easily due to how exhausted she was, she still ended up feeling restless in the end, her mind replaying Whitney’s words over and over again… Not wanting Zivon to worry, she opted to simply pretend to be asleep instead… and after a while, she could hear him getting up from his chair.
As expected, Zivon assumed that Xavia had fallen asleep… And this meant that it was finally time for him to get his revenge on Whitney!
After he left, Xavia couldn’t help but stare at the door for a bit… and after a while, she clenched her fists before muttering, “…Please don’t betray my trust, Von…”
Meanwhile, an ear-piercing scream could be heard echoing throughout a hospital! Sitting on one of the beds was a pale-faced Whitney, and unlike before, her hair had been shaved clean off! She almost looked like a monk now! Enraged like never before, the hyperventilating woman was quick to roar, “Who…?! Who shaved my head…?! Return my long hair, you bastard…! Return it now or I’ll kill you with my own hands…!”
Naturally, the nurses and doctors didn’t dare to approach the crazed woman… but eventually, a smiling Jenna entered the room before saying, “Please calm down, Miss Baun… Can’t you see that everyone’s staring at you…?”
…They… they were looking at her? Her bald head…?! Feeling desperate, the anxious woman began tossing everything she could grab her hands on at them while yelling, “Out…! Get the fuck out…!”
“Miss, as if I’d lie to you about such a thing! You can ask the doctors and nurses if you don’t believe me! That aside, the drug you used was very strong, and Young Master Burton ended up getting hospitalized as well… He nearly died, you know? Thankfully, Sir Ian and his men came over to save him in time…”
…Wait. So… He had been more willing to die than to touch her…?! As Whitney was drenched in immense disappointment and fury, the door suddenly opened… and in stepped Ian together with two guards…
