After listening to everything that Xavia had to say, Ian frowned before eventually replying, “…Though it’s true that this could be classified as a case that could involve the law… Bah, so be it! I’m willing to step in for your sake and Zivon’s”

Hugging her brother tightly, Xavia excitedly replied, “Thank you, Ian…! I knew I could count on you!”

Sighing with a smile, he then gave her a few pats. With how adorable she was, there was no way that he would willingly let her continue to suffer…

It was around then when Zivon entered the living room… and since the other Frankstons were still busy preparing breakfast in the dining room, nobody noticed him. Raising a slight brow, he silently continued moving forward… and it didn’t take long for him to notice Xavia and Ian hugging at a corner of the stairs.

Xavia was quick to sense his familiar presence, and following a wide smile, she was prompted to ask, “Von? What are you doing here?”

Ian himself added, “Whatever the case is, stay for breakfast, won’t you?”

Nodding in response, Zivon then held Xavia’s hands before guiding her toward the dining room… At the dining table, Xavia made sure to pamper Zivon a lot.

“Have some of this soup, Von. It’s delicious and it’ll do wonders for your health…”

“This tastes wonderful! Have some, Von!”

“…I just wanted to check if I had hurt you too badly…” interrupted Zivon who felt slightly hurt from how panicked she looked. Shaking his head, he then took out a tiny tin of ointment before adding, “Here, I got this from Fiona and it should help with the pain.”

…So he was just trying to care for her? How awkward… Alas, before she could even reply, he had already removed her clothing! However, it wasn’t done sexually… rather, he was treating her methodically like she was one of his experiments… And somehow, that made her feel even more awkward!

Watching as she wriggled around, he firmly but gently ordered, “Stop trying to squirm about. I hurt you, so it’s only right that I treat your wounds… and while we’re on the topic, I’m sorry for being so rough last night…”
