What kind of shameless lunatic could even come up with such a plan…?! It was clear that Whitney knew how Xavia and the Frankstons operated. That they wouldn’t allow Zivon to continue committing to his relationship with Xavia if he fathered the child of another woman!
Though the old Jenna would’ve definitely been convinced to help Whitney, things were different now. Whitney was clearly just using her to get rid of Xavia first, and once that was done, Whitney would come after her next!
That aside, Jenna knew from experience that her plan wouldn’t even come close to succeeding. After all, she had already tried all sorts of drugs on him before, but none of them had ever worked. What’s more, he hated her even less than he hated Whitney, so if he could stop in the past, there was zero doubt that he would be able to do it again!
Actually, hold on… What if he got so angry at her that he accidentally killed her while he was drugged…? Now that would surely be a dream come true!
It took her a while, but Jenna eventually replied, “…Um… I’m sorry, but I don’t think I’m brave enough to help you… Honestly, I don’t think he likes me at all… Instead, he probably just likes the perfume I’m using since it resembles Xavia’s scent… I can give it to you, if you want… If you use that perfume, some incense, and put on some sexy clothes… Then maybe things will go your way tonight…?”
Upon hearing that, Whitney’s eyes instantly widened. That’s right! Why hadn’t she thought about using incense? What’s more, Jennie had a perfume that resembled Xavia’s scent? This was big news!
It didn’t take long for Jennie to return with a perfume bottle… and upon having a little sniff, Whitney smirked as she said, “…True enough, this pleasant smell resembles Xavia’s! I have to say that I’ve underestimated your bitchiness! Anyway, you may leave for now. I’ll repay you once the deed is done.”
Looking out the car window, she realized that there were many white chrysanthemums being sold on the street today… Come to think of it, wasn’t today the Ghost festival? The day when the living would honor the deaths of their loved ones…? With that in mind, she ultimately replied, “…Royal Hill Cemetery, please.”
It was about half an hour later when Jenna stood in front of her own tombstone… and to her disappointment, nobody had left her any flowers. It was pathetic, really, especially when she remembered how the Lockharts had ‘cared’ so much about her before… Now that she was no use to them, they hadn’t even bothered to come over on such an important day like this!
Hell, the only time they had visited her grave was when they had begged James and Jacob to return to their side!
