Following that, he led her out of the elevator… and though it was already quite late, the sky was still lit by the countless fireworks, as well as a sea of red lanterns that had been hung all over the backyard. However, the most eye-catching thing was a red helicopter that had landed in the middle of the lawn. Its side was engraved with the words, ‘Xav & Von,’ making it clear that this was the same helicopter that her brother had gifted her!

Now even more confused, Xavia asked, “…Can I know where we’re going now…?”

Choosing not to reply, Zivon then led her into the helicopter… and after closing the hatch, he made sure to lock it behind him. Xavia herself barely noticed that action. After all, the inside of the helicopter was filled with balloons and flowers! Sure, it wasn’t an unusual concept to decorate the inside of a car like this, but a helicopter? What a pleasant surprise!

Before she could even say a word, however, she suddenly felt him kissing her cheek, ear… and then her neck…?! What on earth was he doing?!

“H-hey…! We’re in a helicopter…!” grumbled the anxious Xavia.

Not even slowing down, Zivon replied, “Oh, it’s exactly because we’re in here that I can now proudly show my love for you… Remember, I could’ve easily chosen to have my way with you all night… but instead, I’m doing this for you. Remember how you said you wanted to watch the fireworks last night? Well, now I’m giving you a frontline view… I love you, Xav…”

Almost immediately after saying that, he began going for round two! What on earth?! Still, this explained why he had been acting so casually earlier… As it turned out, he had been trying his best to hold himself back till he was able to bring her over to see the fireworks! Though the mystery was solved, wasn’t he being a bit too overbearing right now…?!

Even so, Zivon heard it, and after revealing a satisfied smile, he was prompted to reply, “…Remember not to get it wrong from now on… Especially when you’re in my arms…”

Gulping slightly, Xavia nodded slowly… and shortly after, the helicopter began taking off.

With the fireworks so close to them, the sight made for a truly unforgettable one… However, Xavia’s mind wasn’t on the beauty outside, but on what Zivon had just said to her as they were rising in the air…
