Tommy gazed up. “You killed her?”

“She fought back when we tried to arrest her and shot at the police. You need to cooperate and tell us everything you know!” Marco deadpanned.

Not wanting to be bothered with speaking to him, Tommy studied Marco’s face. “I know who you are, Marco York. You were born in Athetin and were transferred here because you crossed someone higher up. Tammy managed to leave, but Bianca remained inside and transferred from the trial room to the holding cell.

“Open the door! I want to get out! I want a lawyer! I haven’t done anything!” she yelled through the gate. However, as everyone had grown used to her screaming in the past two days, no one spared her another look.

Two more days passed, and Bianca had given up on screaming and lay on her bed in devastation when she was eventually released due to the lack of evidence.
