Chapter 920
Anthony was slightly dazed as he looked at them.
He walked over, covered Charlie’s belly with the towel properly, and sat at the edge of the bed.
He checked out the gauze on Anne’s forehead.
He had asked Kathryn in the morning and she said it was fine if she pressed against it when sleeping. The wound was already healed when Anne was in a coma. She could do as she wished as long as it was not hurting her when pressure was applied.
Anne was fast asleep but she suddenly opened her eyes.
She seemed to have sensed someone sitting by the bed but she did not see anybody.
Only the three adorable triplets were sleeping all over the bed.
As Anne looked at their small and chubby cheeks, she could not help but pinch them. They were so tender.
The triplets were sound asleep and Charlie was even producing snot bubbles
Anne had a smile on her face as she looked at them.
She felt very secure.
She did not expect that she would get married and have children at such a young age.
In fact, it had nothing to do with how soon or late. It would be enough as long as she was happy!
However, she kept feeling like something was lacking as she could not recall the details of her and Anthony being together in the past.
It seemed like she still had a sense of insecurity.
Why would she feel that way?
Anthony was very good to her…
Perhaps it was because she did not know how she should treat Anthony.
For example, was her personality in the past like how it was at that moment? Anthony liked her and married her. Even if his affection for her developed over time, it must have been because she has some kind of charm, right?
After dinner, Anne watched the triplets play soccer.
“Mama, come play with us!” Charlie called out to her with one hand raised.
“Have I played before in the past?” Anne asked.
The little fellow then fell on the lawn sharply!
“Ah!” Anne’s eyes widened.
Charlie, who fell on the lawn, was first stunned, then he burst out crying after and threw his hands and feet in the air. “Stinky Papa! Stinky Papa!”
Chloe and Chris stood and watched with their adorable faces.
They looked slightly frightened by Papa’s soccer skills.
“Ah! I don’t want to play anymore!” Chloe immediately rushed to Mama’s side and hugged her legs.
“It’s fine. It’s fine…” Anne held Chloe’s hand and walked toward Charlie, who was still bawling. “Charlie, does your head hurt? Let me have a look.”
“I don’t want Papa anymore!” Charlie got on his feet and was very angry. “Papa is not my Papa anymore!”
When Anne saw that not only was he fine but he even fought back fiercely, she wanted to laugh but she held herself back.
Anthony kicked the ball over. “I told you you’re not allowed to cry.”
“You played dirty!” Charlie sniffed and stopped crying, but he was very unwilling to accept defeat.
