Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies novel Chapter 791

Chapter 791

When she arrived at the pet store, she was greeted by horrible news.

“What? You lost it?” Ashlynn questioned frantically, “How? This is a pet hotel! I paid you and you promised that you would look after it! You are supposed to keep it in a cage, so how did you lose it?”

“We are so sorry, but our staff forgot to lock the cage after feeding it and by the time we noticed that, it’s already gone. We couldn’t find it.”

“So it’s already missing when you called me?”

“Yes.”

Ashlynn noticed the call history on her phone.

Corentin had her phone the entire time and she assumed that he had answered the call for her.

She had bought the puppy to keep her company through all the loneliness because her psychiatrist mentioned that pets would help heal mental traumas.

Ashlyn ran off to the streets, calling out to her dog along the way, hoping that it was waiting for her to find it.

‘I’m going to find you,‘ she thought with determination.

However, she could not find it even after searching around until the sky had turned dark. She sat on a bench by the streets and once again realized how horrible her life was.

She was adopted and was glad to have a family. Eventually, she had her own family with Salvatore, and all she wanted was to give birth to his children and live happily ever after.

In the end, she spent every moment in her marriage in pain, trying to escape Salvatore.

Her heart stopped when she met Corentin’s light brown eyes.

“Ashlynn, come sit down,” Anne said.

Ashlynn walked over to take her seat next to Anne, all the while keeping her head bowed.

“I’m glad to see that you are alright,” Corentin said gently.

“She said that you are her ex–husband, Salvatore,” Anne said, “and that you are only working with us because you want her. Is that true?”

“I’ve already told you why I’m working with you. As for Ashlynn, I only asked her to stay in Athetin because I like her. Even if I look like Salvatore, you’ve already run a paternity test, right?” Corentin asked. “I don’t mind having another one done.”
