Chapter 729
“Mr. Faye is considered a secret of the Lloyd family. There isn’t much time, so I only get to know some things from the outside world. It was all rumors about the way Corentin does things. It has nothing to do with Mr. Faye. Further investigation will be needed if you want to find out more,” said Anthony.
Anne looked at Nigel in the photo and asked, “Is this couple…my grandparents?”
“Mm–hmm.”
“Looking at my dad’s age, Corentin should have been born, right? Why isn’t he in the photo? “Anne asked.
“Mr. Faye’s father has two wives.”
Anne was slightly shocked at first, but she understood it after.
Corentin and her father were half–brothers who shared the same father.
Just like herself and Bianca.
However, what she could be certain of at that moment was that Corentin indeed was her uncle.
“Since there’s nothing else, I can go back now, can’t I?” Anne asked.
“Do you think you can still leave after coming here?” Anthony looked at her with his deep black eyes filled with a sense of danger.
Anne provoked him with her gaze. “I can stay but would it be alright if you don’t return? Bianca is still waiting at the Royal Mansion, right? Otherwise, you wouldn’t have brought me here. What’s the matter? Is this the luxury place to keep your mistress?”
Anthony looked at her with a cold gaze without saying a word. Clearly, Anne, had gotten it right.
“It’s better for you to return to the Royal Mansion. Don’t let the children have neither their mother nor their father by their side-” Anne stood up, but before she finished her sentence, something tightened around her wrist and she was pulled over. She then fell and sat on Anthony’s lap. “Ah! You…”
Anthony pinched her chin. “You don’t have to worry about the children. As for where I should be, it’s entirely up to my mood.” 1
Anne did not want to talk to him. She pulled his hand and she wanted to use that as leverage to get up. However, his hand around her waist was clamping her down like pliers.
She said unhappily, “I’m not in the mood. It’s either you let me go to bed or let me go home."
Anthony carried her in his arms and walked toward the bathroom. “You’ll be in the mood later.”
“Ah!” Water directly poured down from the showerhead in the bathroom and that gave Anne a fright. She turned around and wanted to leave.
“I can’t hear it! I also don’t want to hear it! If you really feel uncomfortable with all the pent- up urges, go look for Bianca or a woman out there. You can look for anybody but don’t come to me!” Anne shouted uncontrollably.
“Damn it…” Anthony’s gaze was cold and distorted. His emotions were about to burst out of him. His fists by his sides were clenched extremely tightly. His muscles, which were outlined by the water included, appeared to be extremely aggressive.
“Anthony, I know that I’m extremely weak in front of you. I’m as tiny as an ant. I can’t defeat you at all and I don’t want to fight you as well. You’ll marry Bianca sooner or later. Can you just give me a bit of time? Can you not make me sleep with you when Bianca is with my children? What is that? A blessing from me?” No matter how afraid Anne felt at that moment, she still stared straight at him stubbornly.
For the sake of her children, no matter how much she has to sacrifice, it would be worth it!
“I have already told you earlier. She will leave!” Anthony held back his temper and repeated to her.
“Then, let’s talk after she leaves!” Anne struggled, broke free from Anthony, turned around, and walked out of the bathroom.
Anthony ran his fingers through his hair with annoyance and his expression was terrifyingly cold.
Her temper was getting worse and worse. She actually dared to give him attitude!
She was simply relying on the children to get such confidence, was she not?
Anne was rummaging through the walk–in closet for clothes. There were clothes for women, anyway. Screw the reason for the clothes to be there. It would be fine as long as she could wear them.
