She could move carefreely. The suffocating feeling that she always felt in Luton was no longer there.
She lay on the beach, smelled the sea, and looked ahead at the clear blue sky. She felt as though her heart was washed clean.
Sarah, who was lying next to her, indulged in watching the sky too. "This is too mesmerizing! Such a picturesque place, but I had never been here. I think I did not benefit from Ron Marwood enough when I married him."
Anne laughed. "Right."
"I'm really glad that I gave birth to a daughter. Look how sweet she is. You said it's better to give birth to a son. Can a son accompany you on trips and shopping like this?" Sarah said proudly.
"Sons are good in their own ways, and daughters are good in their own ways too." Anne thought about her triplets.
Her sons were good to her.
Sarah flipped over and asked, "Do you feel much better now?"
"Yes, it was a good idea to get out of Luton," Anne agreed.
Staying in Luton was like staying in a bird's nest. She could not breathe freely there.
Now she was enjoying the scenic nature, basking in the sun, not having to think about anything at all. What a wonderful life that was.
"Mom, I paid for your flight tickets, but you will have to pay for your own remaining expenses." Anne was frank with her. Otherwise, she would be broke by the end of the trip.
Sarah laughed. "Don't even bother about the flight ticket. See, you declined my money on the usual days. Now, look at how broke you are."
Anne did not deny that. She was indeed living in a condition where she only had one meal each day just to save money for her children.
Now, she was in a much better position.
Especially after Anthony discovered the kids, she had even fewer worries.
It was a very content feeling, as though she could provide sufficiently for the family.
"Right, we have not turned on our phones yet, have we?" Sarah said.
"Ah yes, we haven't. We have to use a local SIM card for that. Otherwise, roaming would be very expensive. After all, we will use mostly cash here. It doesn't really matter if we have our phones with us," Anne said.
"Have all the fun without having to think about anything at all, that is just so awesome," Sarah said. Then, suddenly, she thought about something and sat right up. "Oh no!"
Anne jumped and asked, "What happened?"
"Hahaha, it tickles!"
"Don't move."
"It's really ticklish! I guess we can skip the waist!"
Not only did Sarah not skip the waist, but she even pinched Anne's waist playfully.
"Ah!" Anne recoiled.
"Your waist is so tiny! Just like mine when I was young." Sarah's eyes were smiling.
She did not even look like she had given birth to three kids.
Sarah only kept that thought to herself to prevent mentioning the kids and affecting Anne's mood.
Since they were there to clear up their minds, it was better for them to forget about everything.
Bianca had stayed in the hospital for over a week now, and she could not wait to get discharged.
