Sarah did not believe a word Anne said. It was such a traumatic event that one could possibly not care, so she figured that Anne was simply in shock.
"Who said you can't get pregnant again? The doctors can be wrong sometimes. Don't worry, I will find you the best doctor."
"We will see about that when I feel like getting married," Anne said blankly.
In truth, she did not care if she could get pregnant again, the reason why Sarah was concerned was because she did not know that Anne already had three children.
The only thing that upset Anne at the moment was how ruthless Anthony was to hurt her to a point that she lost the ability to get pregnant permanently, and it would be lying if she was to say that it did not affect her at all.
"Also, you should go home tonight. I'm fine, so you don't have to say."
"What? That won't do. I'm going to stay right here with you," Sarah insisted.
Anne did not argue further.
After being under observation for one night, she was discharged.
Sarah insisted on staying at Anne's apartment, but Anne refused to let her, because she was not alone and had the children to worry about.
"If you insist on staying here, let me stay here too to cook for you."
"No, I can cook for myself."
"Why are you being so stubborn? You've just gone through a major surgery, so you need to rest." Sarah did not understand why Anne would be so insistent. Their relationship had finally improved and Sarah saw no point in Anne insisting to do everything on her own.
"Truth is, I want to be alone," Anne said.
Her eyes were filled with tears and she wiped them dry, before going to her room to look for the bills of her abortion surgery.
She had everything including the urine and blood test, along with the bill she received after the surgery.
The only way Bianca could have done something was to bribe the doctor and a doctor who would agree to such a request was not worthy to be one.
They would all have to pay for what they did.
Without another moment of hesitation, Anne headed back to the hospital and was surprised when she ran into Oliver.
"Ms. Vallois?" Oliver was more surprised to see her there, as he had heard that she had just lost her child and was shocked that Anne would be out and about.
