Chapter 1109
Even though Mia lowered her head, she was still paying attention to the study.
It was obvious that Anne had upset Anthony.
When Mia saw Hayden bringing some tea to the study, she cleverly walked over and greeted, "Sir, let me do it!"
’It's fine. I noticed that Mr. Marwood is upset, so it's better that you don't get close to him."
"Sir, if Mr. Marwood is angry, isn't it better for a lady to send the tea over? That way, it'll only lift his mood, right?" Mia reasoned.
"Then be careful when you go in."
"Don't worry!"
Hayden did not worry much as Mia had worked in the Royal Mansion for several years and was quick-witted.
Later, Mia knocked on the door and only cautiously went in with the tea when she heard the deep voice allowing her to go in.
"Mr. Marwood, your tea." Mia placed the teacup next to Anthony's hand on the desk so he could take it easily.
As soon as she placed the teacup, Mia realized that Anthony was looking at her.
Mia felt a little weak in her hands and feet and did not dare to meet Anthony's gaze, so she lowered her head.
"Why are you here instead of Hayden?" Anthony's voice was indifferent.
"Oh, I'm on duty tonight," Mia said.
"I remember you're from a prestigious university?"
Mia was pleasantly surprised, and she hurriedly replied, "Yes, my name is Mia. I've worked in the Royal Mansion for three years and graduated from a well-known local university."
"Get out." Anthony took a sip from his teacup.
"Yes, Mr. Marwood." Mia obediently left, and her breathing only became smoother after she closed the study door.
Marwood or me?"
Fiona could not take it anymore, so she simply turned her head and fell asleep.
"Did you hear what I said? Are you jealous of me?" Mia rolled her eyes, stood up, sat on her bed, took out a small mirror, and looked at her face. The more she looked at herself, the more she thought she was goodlooking.
She had heard that Anne was Anthony's sister, and they had stayed under the same roof.
Otherwise, why would Anthony like her?
Now that she was working in Royal Mansion, was she considered living under the same roof as Mr. Marwood?
At the thought of that, Mia chuckled bashfully.
However, she quickly recalled the tea she had served Anthony. In truth, she did not add anything to it as it was the first time she served Anthony tea, so she was still a little nervous, afraid of exposing any flaws.
She would wait until she got used to it.
