Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 961

After officially parting with Little Bean Sprout, Cherie's treatment went by smoothly. She was very cooperative with her doctors during the course of her treatment.

Shania finally allowed Cherie to get out of her private room and take walks in the hospital's garden. Cherie was also allowed to talk to other patients and watch TV in the common area.

She ran into a little boy who was drawing while taking a stroll in the garden.

Cherie walked over and sat next to the little boy.

There were plenty of gory drawings in the boy's sketchbook. However, Cherie did not find them weird as she thought that his drawings were not too bad.

Although she was artistically gifted, she was not really good at drawing and was actually quite curious about the little boy's drawing.

Therefore, she asked, "What are you drawing?"

The little boy was completely lost in his own world and ignored Cherie. However, Cherie was not surprised by his lack of reaction because she was just like him all the time.

Cherie watched him finish a drawing for quite some time.

The little boy raised his brows, turning around to look at her before asking, "Are my drawings good?"

Cherie nodded as she looked at the drawings. "They’re not bad. They look even more unique than some art pieces I've seen displayed in an art gallery."

"But you don't even know what I was drawing." The little boy pouted his lips.

Cherie replied, "I think they look pretty good."

The little boy was confused as he said, "No one has ever told me that my drawings are good. You're the first to say that. My mom said that I was scribbling random doodles. She even told me that I should be drawing the sun, grass, trees, and birds for my age."

Cherie chuckled and said, "Oh you have every right to draw whatever you like. Both the sketchbook and the pen are with you, so you decide on whatever you want to draw."

"But my mom said that I'm sick, so that’s why I tend to draw scary things."

Cherie raised her brows and said, "Scary? Are internal organs scary though? I think the way you draw organs is pretty impressive."

Cherie picked up his sketchbook and took a closer look at the drawings. She noticed a drawing of a human heart that was wrapped by plenty of colorful ribbons on a page. It looked pretty impressive and deep.

Cherie said, "I've seen plenty of similarly deep drawings like these displayed in an international art gallery before."

"International art gallery? Is that something impressive?"

Cherie nodded and said, "Yeah, only art drawn by modern-age famous artists are displayed there."

"I want to be a world-famous artist too."

Cherie said, "Give it a try. Maybe you'll actually succeed."

"But…" The little boy lowered his head as he sulked. "My mom said that it would be a blessing for children like me to not add to her problems. My mom doesn't like these drawings but I really want to learn to draw more. My mom said that it's already expensive enough to pay for my medical bills. Drawing...will cost more money."

Cherie stared intensely at him as she said, "Your drawing is really good."

"Are you trying to cheer me up?"

"I don't cheer people up that often."

Cherie gave them a cold glare before pointing at the notice that was hanging at the wall by the plasma TV while clutching onto the remote.

"You're not allowed to cause any sort of commotion. You guys have already broken the rules and therefore, lose the right to watch TV."

Just as the other patients were about to argue with her, Shania and the other doctors walked by them.

Shania asked with a smile, "What are you guys arguing about?"

Cherie replied, "He wanted to watch the World Cup but the other guy wanted to watch NBA. They were about to fight because of this. Now, they have no choice but to watch whatever I choose."

Shania was speechless.

Shania then started laughing as she told the other doctors, "Cherie is behaving like a class monitor now. She's even upholding the rules."

The other doctors that were with Shania pointed at the others while laughing and said, "You guys have to listen to whatever Cherie says. You aren't allowed to cause a commotion or fight or else, you won’t be allowed to watch TV in the future."

The other patients were speechless.

One of the patients tugged Shania's sleeves and lamented, "Dr. Shania, you don't expect us to actually watch Cinderella, right?"

Shania gave the patient a loving glance before teasing him, "Just hang in there. Shania just so happens to be the wife of this hospital's owner. If she's unhappy, you guys won't even be allowed to watch Cinderella anymore."

The other patients glared at Cherie before they scoffed.

However, Cherie rarely fought with them to watch certain shows. If they happened to argue amongst themselves, Cherie would just confiscate the remote. It seemed discipline amongst patients was very well kept.
