At the office building of MO Group back at North City.
After Calum entered the office, he handed some documents to Boyle and said, "Boss, the hospital project has officially started. All the medical staff has been hired and we can begin operations in half a month's time."
MO Group had built a hospital before but the hospital was located in America.
This would be the first private hospital MO Group built locally.
All the medical equipment and medical staff were all the best and top of the line.
It seemed the main focus for the hospital would be mental health and psychology.
Since the cities in the country were making a shift in urbanization at a very fast pace while the housing prices were extremely high, that would have put even more financial strain on lower and middle-class families. Thus, there were a lot of people who were facing mental disorders and emotional stress. However, it seemed there was a lack of awareness amongst the common folk regarding mental disorders and a lack of psychologists in the country.
It seemed that plenty of major hospitals in the country lacked a psychology department. There were also very few licensed psychologists in the country.
Because of that, it would be an extreme advantage for MO Group to pave the road through that front. They had hired plenty of high-profile professional psychologists from all over the world with an extremely high payroll. Their psychology team would be the best in the world.
Plenty of people in the world would soon come to know how impressive the psychology department was in their hospital.
However, the most important thing about the hospital was that Cherie would now be able to undergo treatment in secret while at the same time, receive the best care without stirring up a storm.
Boyle pouted his lips and spoke in a serious manner, "Half a month is too long. I need you to speed up the progress."
Boyle began work on building the hospital after learning about Cherie's condition. There were no delays after he began the project.
Although the entire timeline was not short, they were still building a huge hospital. Thus, they were actually quite fast with the pace they were progressing at.
Calum reluctantly nodded his head since it was a direct order by his boss and he could not do anything about it. "Yes, boss."
Boyle followed up with another question, "How's progress with the Orange Amusement Park?"
Calum replied, "The upper management at the capital branch has taken care of securing land for the project. Everything is being carried out at full speed. The plans for the amusement park have been fully drawn out and tailored to your specifications and requests. Orange will be the main theme at the amusement park."
Calum handed the plans to Boyle and after Boyle took a glance at it, he made some suggestions for the amusement park.
"Alright, we'll inform the capital's branch now and have them follow up with the issues at hand."
Boyle thought about something important when Calum approached the exit.
"Hold on a second."
Calum turned around and asked, "Is there something else, boss?"
"How is Hanson doing recently?"
"He's behaving quite obediently but is in the capital. He visited our branch at the capital a couple of times before and threw a fit, but he would always be escorted away by security."
Boyle raised his head slightly and said, "Continue to keep an eye on him."
"Alright."
…
At the office building of the MO Group in the capital.
Hanson was carrying around a bowl and shamelessly loitering about at the entrance of the office building. He seemed to be begging for food.
The security guard had tried to chase him away several times already but Hanson shamelessly returned to beg as he squatted by the entrance. His actions affected the company’s image.
The security guard finally snapped as he exclaimed with a frown, "You keep saying that you're President Lawson's father but do you even have any evidence to back your claims? I don't think you're President Lawson's father. Do you have any idea just how many people have tried to pull off this scam in a day just to meet with him?"
Hanson raised his brows and said, "I don't care. My son is such a capable man now and has achieved so much already. Is he really not going to care about his own father? That makes no sense!"
The security guard mocked him, "You sound like a complete lunatic! Your condition sounds really serious!"
"What does a lowly security guard like you even know! I'm telling you, at least half of this building belongs to me!"
The security guard shook his head with a laugh as he said, "Please leave. If you refuse to leave, I’ll call the cops on you!"
"It's pointless to call the cops. The cops can't deny the fact that I’m President Lawson's father! Do you know that blood is thicker than water?"
"No, I don’t. If you still refuse to leave, I will do what I must!"
The security guard went back into the building soon after and decided to ignore the man and leave the matter to the police.
"You’re so kind, miss!"
Natalie helped Hanson up from the ground immediately as the duo entered her car.
…
In the restaurant.
Hanson ordered a lot of food and ate like a complete glutton.
His mouth was completely covered in grease from the way he ate.
Natalie poured him a glass of orange juice and handed it to her as she said, "Have some orange juice, Mr. Lawson. You should eat slower. We're not in a hurry anyway."
Hanson pointed at the lamb shank on his plate and said, "Can you order another plate of lamb shank for me? I'm still not full."
Natalie smiled and said, "Of course. Waiter!"
The waiter came over and served Hanson another plate of lamb shank.
When Natalie noticed Hanson was almost done with his food, she said, "Have you seen Boyle at all in the past few years, Mr. Lawson?"
While Hanson stuffed his mouth full of food, he shook his head and said, "No. Wasn't he overseas all this time? How could I possibly even have met him anyway! He doesn't even want to see me. He's rich now and is constantly surrounded by a group of bodyguards. I can't get close to him even if I tried."
"So you keep trying to bother him at his company? This isn't really a good solution. Look, if he doesn't want to see you, doing so will be impossible."
Hanson spoke with a frown, "Yeah! How unacceptable! I've met him a few times seven years ago though. Look at my hair, they're turning white and I don't even get the chance to meet him once! All I did was beat him when he was little. He shouldn't hold onto that grudge for so long! He's making it seem like he has some deeply-rooted hatred toward me!"
"Yeah! What you did was just educating him and you only hoped for the best for him."
"Exactly. You sure are quite the bright young lady! Help me talk some sense into him. I've truly changed this time and won't bother him ever again. Just let him meet me once and have him give me some money to survive. Say, I’m still the father of a successful business owner and I didn't even have a place to live. Wouldn't this humiliate him indirectly as well?"
"Of course. Getting you a house should be something Boyle would be able to do. Say, Mr. Lawson, since he doesn't want to see you, why don't you think of a way to get his attention to lure him out to meet you?"
Hanson was stunned while he ate. He stared wide-eyed at Natalie as he said, "Do you have an idea on how to pull that off, miss?"
Natalie whispered something into Hanson's ear.
