Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 854

The words, 'miscarriage' and 'Cherie' were blocked in the school's forums.

It did not matter if there were anyone who wanted to start some sort of drama, but nothing related to those words could be posted on the forums. Even similar words were completely censored.

Everyone was talking about how powerful of a family Cherie was from.

However, even if they did not talk about Cherie, they were able to talk about Boyle instead since he was quite the popular student in school.

They were talking about how Boyle had cheated on Cherie with another woman while dating her and had also caused her micarriage.

There were also some folks who were calling Cherie shameless and desperately clinging onto Boyle.

Boyle's and Cherie's relationship started without much excitement however, it ended with absolute fireworks.

The topic of a student falling down the stairs in their dorms which caused her to miscarry was spreading like wildfire.

It was cloudy with heavy winds on the day Cherie was discharged from the hospital.

The Gales came over to send them off at the airport.

Cherie hesitated for a brief moment when she approached the car.

Heaton had already opened the door and was also calling out to her, "Jelly Bean, the winds are strong out here, hurry up and get in."

Cherie nodded and followed Verian into the car.

Just as she entered the black Bentley, Boyle had just gotten off from a cab and was striding into the hospital.

The black Bentley started to slowly drive away from the hospital.

Cherie instinctively took a glance back and all she could find was a sea of strangers.

Verian grabbed her little hand and placed it on her thighs as she asked, "What's the matter? Not feeling well?"

Cherie shook her head and said, "No."

"Can we make a promise then, Jelly Bean?"

"What promise?"

Verian replied in a gentle tone, "Can we stop thinking about what happened in the capital when we return to North City?"

Cherie replied, "Sure."

Verian smiled and hugged her daughter.

Jelly Bean was behaving exactly like she was during her childhood. She was leaning her head on Verian's shoulder while holding her hand.

Heaton took a glance at the mother and daughter duo. Upon noticing that her mood did not seem too poor, he reached out and held their hands as well.

By the time Boyle arrived at the hospital, he found the VIP room completely empty.

There was a nurse that was just walking by him.

Boyle asked, "Excuse me, may I know if Cherie Fudd is staying in this room?"

The nurse took a glance at the empty room and said, "The lady in this room was discharged literally minutes ago. She left with her parents. Man that family of three sure is attractive, alright. We were also hoping that she would stay for a little longer as our eye candy, you know."

While the nurse was filling up some paperwork, she sighed and said, "Sigh, that little girl sure is pretty. I heard that her parents are very close friends to the main shareholder of this hospital too and her family is quite powerful as well. Such a shame that she had to suffer a miscarriage when she's still so young."

Boyle's heart stung when he heard that.

Jelly Bean smiled and said, "Will daddy be jealous if he finds out that he's not your first love?"

"Oh, he will. That is why I've always been lying to him by saying that all my previous relationships were fake and they don't count and only he was my first official love. However, in all honesty, those relationships aren't exactly love anyway. Come on let's be real, I've never even held other guys hands anyway and besides, I was still very young then. Hence, what do I know about love anyway?"

While Jelly Bean was staring at how loving and passionate Verian was describing her love about Heaton, somehow, her tears started to fall.

Verian was startled as she asked, "What's the matter, Jelly Bean?"

"I don't know why either. I don't want to cry but I can't help myself."

Verian stared at her with a loving gaze as she wiped her tears away with a tissue. She said, "Oh my dear Jelly Bean, you should smile more. You'd feel much better when you smile."

"Monty, I also wish that my first love can be that fruitful."

Verian's heart started to ache as she said, "The first love we had as a child only cares about the moment. It's strong and passionate, so much so that you want nothing more than to let the world know about it. You feel that he's your entire world and the first thing you'd do when you wake up is to check for his text messages. You want to meet him everyday so much that you wish you could cling onto him 24 hours a day everyday of the week. You'd love him unconditionally. Perhaps you won't think about your future because not only does that moment make you feel hopeful, but you'd feel a sense of uncertainty and fear too. The fear of the unknown, you know. Perhaps… in all honesty, you're unaware that you don't actually love him as much as you think?"

Jelly Bean sniffled and asked in a soft tone, "What about when we grow up? What does grown up love feel like then?”

"Grown up love though, well, if that person is someone you love and isn't just some random target you want to marry, you'd know when you feel connected with that person. You'd still feel excited but you won't just think solely about the moment, but you'd also start to think about the future. You'd start to imagine growing old together, building a home together, and taking care of pets together. This life is peaceful but it's a blessed one nonetheless. You'd also feel very secure with that person."

Jelly Bean asked, "What if I start to also think about those things when I'm with my first love then? Would this mean that what I imagined and that person are now two different things altogether?"

Verian obviously knew who she was talking about.

Verian also knew that Jelly Bean was very serious with Boyle.

Jelly Bean's love for Boyle was stronger and more passionate than Heaton's and hers.

Verian patted her little head and said, "No. The truth is, no one can know for sure what the future holds and it's not like you're only allowed to love that one person for your entire life. Jelly Bean, the world will still continue to function even with or without that certain someone. It doesn't matter how much you've been hurt or how much love you still have left, humans are all the same."

Verian embraced Jelly Bean and said, "So my dear Jelly Bean, don't be afraid. All the hurt and sorrow will pass. Your grandpa, your father, me and your brother will always love you. You will have more love than anyone else out there. You won't be unhappy, okay?"
