Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 833

Huntley organized a trip during the weekend for everyone.

Thus, the four of them took a trip to Pride Mountain.

They initially wanted to invite Hector along as well. However, Hector felt that he would only be a third wheel to both couples, so he decided not to tag along.

They did not take the cable car up to the mountain's peak. Both Boyle and Huntley were completely fine climbing up since they worked out frequently. Cherie and Whitney on the other hand were struggling to catch their breaths.

Whitney was holding onto her waist while calling out from behind, "Hey, can you guys slow down or wait for us?"

Huntley turned around and laughed at them while standing by the stairs, "I suggested that we take the cable car up to the peak when we were down there because I was worried that both of you are not fit enough for the climb. Who was it that refused my suggestion again?"

Whitney pouted her lips and said, "How should I know climbing this little hill would be this exhausting! This isn't even a very tall mountain anyway!"

Huntley felt helpless as he reached out to her. He said, "Come on now, princess. I'll help you up there."

Whitney rolled her eyes at him as she said, "It seems that you still have a heart."

Boyle stared at Cherie's flustered little face as he bent over in front of her while patting his shoulder with his huge hand. He said, "Get on, I'll carry you."

"...You'd be exhausted. I can still carry on."

"Oh, stop it. If you pass out later from exhaustion, I'll still have to carry you."

Cherie blushed harder from his comment. Although it was a little embarrassing, she truly did not want to continue the climb since she was extremely exhausted at this point…

A certain someone shamelessly climbed on top of Boyle's back.

Whitney who was being led ahead by Huntley turned around to take a glance at Boyle and Cherie who were left behind. She immediately felt envious of them.

"F*ck! Huntley, you'll need to learn from Boyle! Look at how amazing he's treating his girlfriend. He's carrying her!"

Huntley did not back down as he patted his shoulders and said, "Come on now princess, let me carry you too. You're making it seem as if I'm unable to move you anyway!"

Whitney glared at him before saying, "You should thank me, alright. I’m still fine and I don't need you to carry me around!"

Huntley and Whitney climbed ahead while they playfully bickered. They seemed very high-spirited.

Cherie buried her little face into Boyle's nape while hugging his neck. She said, "Boyle, if you're tired, you can put me down and let me walk for a while."

Boyle replied with a calm and firm tone, "I'm not as weak as you think."

Cherie obviously knew just how physically fit he was especially when he was doing a specific sport with her. He could keep going even when she was completely exhausted.

Due to Boyle carrying such a heavy weight, he was sweating buckets when they were almost to the peak. Cherie took out a piece of tissue from her pocket to wipe his sweat for him.

"Let's take the cable car down later. I can't hold on any longer."

Boyle pushed her body up before cracking a simple smile as he said, "Sure."

Boyle put Cherie down from his back when they arrived at the monastery on the peak.

Both the couples were enjoying the beautiful view at the peak. Both men were even helping their women to take plenty of pictures of themselves.

Whitney called out to them, "Boyle, Cherie, you both can stand closer together. Let me take a picture of both of you."

Both Boyle and Cherie stood under a tree. A beautiful natural scenery was their backdrop.

"Come on you guys, be a little intimate. Boyle, please hug Cheire."

Boyle played along and hugged Cherie while the little child leaned her head against his chest and hugged his waist with her little arm.

'Click, click.'

Whitney took a series of pictures as she said, "My skills are impeccable. I'll print the pictures out and give it to you guys soon."

Cherie rushed over and said, "Let me see."

Whitney said, "My skills are really good right?"

"Oh, I won't tell you my wish then."

Cherie closed her eyes immediately, clasped her hands together and started making her wish.

She muttered in her heart, 'I wish that I can spend the rest of my life with Boyle.’

They exited the monastery hand in hand after they were done making wishes. However, they ran into a monk that was sweeping the monastery grounds.

That monk glanced at them while holding onto a broom. While bowing to them, he said, "Please hold on, the both of you."

Both Boyle and Cherie were stunned as they turned around to look at him.

Cherie asked, "Is there something you need, sir?"

The monk read Boyle's face and spoke to Cherie, "Young miss, your eyes are really pure and you must have quite the wealthy life. Your life is showered with luxury and you're as sacred as a phoenix. However, your life is conflicted with this man and I'm afraid his life will either ruin you or he might endanger your life if it's serious."

Cherie's face instantly turned pale as she glared at the monk before exclaiming, "Stop your nonsense! Although you're a monk, you shouldn't spout nonsense like this!"

The monk said, "Young miss, turn back before it's too late. This man's life is a harrowing one. Although he is strong, he is destined to brave several storms. He is destined to be wealthy but his life is harrowing. His life is very against his father's and his wife. It's best for him to live a very materialistic life but his life is cursed to never be with the one he loves."

Boyle's gaze turned cold and extremely menacing.

The sweeping monk trembled when he noticed his gaze. He told Cherie, "Young miss, your boyfriend is a very dark person. You should leave him as soon as possible to stop yourself from getting hurt."

Cherie was fuming as she put her hands in front of Boyle, shielding him before raising her head and snapping back at the monk, "Nonsense! Boyle will never hurt me! I believe you haven't studied your scriptures enough and that's why you're sweeping the monastery grounds! What you say isn't even accurate!"

"His love is like a tidal wave, overwhelming indeed. However, when he grows colder, he will hurt you tremendously."

Cherie was staring daggers at the monk as she exclaimed, "You're spouting nonsense! Complete and utter nonsense!"

Cherie then grabbed Boyle's hand and said, "Don't listen to his nonsense, Boyle. Let's go!"

When Boyle and Cherie turned around to leave, they could still hear the monk say with a sigh, "Being too lost will hurt you. Leave while you still can!"
