Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 818

Boyle already went back to his room.

Cherie followed him. She saw him sitting by the table and looking at the stock market on his computer.

She walked over to him and rested her chin on her hands as she bent down on the table. She stared at him with her beaded eyes as she asked, “How did you know that I don’t eat onions, garlic and corianders?”

Boyle turned his head to look at her. He raised his brows and said, “Because I’m good at observing.”

“Since you’re so good at observing, why didn’t you know what auntie likes?”

Boyle answered with his deep voice, “My mom is not a picky eater like you.”

Cherie smiled as she looked at him acting all awkward and stuck-up. “Boyle Lawson, just admit it. Admit that you actually like me a lot. You like me to the extent that you’ll take notice of all the little things related to me.”

She thought the man would deny it haughtily. However, the man stared at her with a deep gaze and answered her in a domineering manner, “Isn’t it normal for me to know what my girlfriend likes? What’s wrong with me being crazy over my girlfriend? You have a problem with that? Hmm?”

Cherie was speechless.

He was talking as though she was not his girlfriend.

The man pinched her chin with his slender fingers. He moved closer to her and pressed a soft kiss on her lips.

She did not have any chance to retaliate.

Hmm… Boyle was such an overbearing guy.

It was lunch time. Sonia was very good at cooking. She simply made a few home-cooked meals yet it tasted so delicious that Cherie had to gulp down two bowls of rice.

Probably because she ate too much, Cherie felt sleepy soon after she finished her lunch. She fell into deep sleep on Boyle’s bed.

The afternoon in the countryside was quiet and peaceful. Sounds of sparrows chirping could be heard outside the window from time to time.

The sunlight shone through the window, scattering over the bed and the woman’s slim figure.

Boyle turned off his laptop and walked toward the bed. He stared at the girl who was sleeping soundly. Her face was very calm.

The cream on her face had already been fully absorbed and her rashes slightly disappeared. There were only a few red marks left on her face. Not only did it not look ugly, they actually looked surprisingly cute.

Boyle brushed away her hair covering her forehead and caressed her head with his big hands. Looking at her tiny lips, he bent down and kissed her.

Cherie was woken up by the kiss. Still half-asleep, she opened her eyes and subconsciously wrapped her hands around Boyle’s neck…

Boyle wanted more but he stopped at the kiss because he adored her too much.

The man’s last kiss fell on the rashes on her skin. It was light and soft.

Liking someone meant making unrestrained demands from your other half.

However, loving someone meant one would be extra careful and gentle when it comes to treating their other half even if it was just a hug or kiss. One would restrain themselves as they are afraid of hurting their partner.

Cherie lied on the bed and fell back asleep after the kiss. She said blurrily, “Boyle, I haven’t washed my clothes yet…”

Boyle looked at her amusedly. Why was she suddenly reminded of her unwashed clothes at this time?

The girl closed her eyes and frowned slightly. She said in a somewhat concerned tone, “What should I wear tonight?”

Boyle teased her. “You knew you didn’t have anything to wear. Why didn’t you wash your clothes earlier?”

She pouted and grunted, “I forgot to wash them this morning and I feel very sleepy right now. They’re not going to dry if I wash them now anyways… Hmm… I’ll just skip shower tonight…”

He had no idea what to do with her.

What a lazy bum.

It was nighttime when Boyle tossed her a clean set of clothes and asked her to shower.

Cherie was surprised and asked, “Did your mom help me wash my clothes?”

She felt embarrassed. Boyle’s mum must have thought that she was a lazybone.

Boyle went back to work after asking her to shower.

That was so close! She almost got caught!

If Verian really sent a driver to Whitney’s house and realized she was not there… it would be catastrophic.

“How can a little girl lie without batting an eye? Where did you learn that from?” Boyle teased her.

“It’s all because of you. My mum wants me to go back by 10 tomorrow morning. Otherwise, she’s going to look for me at the Yard’s family. What time is the earliest bus to get back to North City?”

Boyle answered, “8 in the morning. I’ll send you to the train station tomorrow morning.”

Cherie let out a hum and nodded her head.

Boyle hugged her and made her sit on his lap. He rubbed his chin against the top of her head. “Do not come all the way here to look for me in the middle of the night next time, alright?”

“What if I miss you?”

“I’ll call you and I’ll go find you.”

Happiness bloomed inside her heart. She buried her face into his embrace. “Boyle, has anybody ever told you that you’re such a nice guy?”

“You told me that before.” She even said that a few times.

Cherie felt butterflies in her stomach.

She was so lucky to have a boyfriend like him. He knew how to cook, fight a lawsuit, and he could even do the laundry.

“I love your mum’s sauteed pickled beans with minced pork. I won’t be able to eat it after I go back to North City.”

“I’ll cook it for you once I’m back at the capital.” Boyle lowered his head to kiss her.

Cherie lifted her head and said, “Boyle, I think I’m falling deeper for you.”

Boyle’s deep kiss fell on her eyelids. He spoke in his hoarse voice, “I don’t mind.”

He would make her fall deeper, to the extent that she could not live without him.
