Verian was carried directly into the lounge of the president's office by Heaton.
Heaton threw the woman on his shoulder directly onto the soft big bed in the lounge. Verian quickly got up and was about to run away. The man kicked the lounge door and pulled her arm to bring her back.
"If you don't want to continue climbing the staircase, just stay here obediently."
She would rather climb the staircase than to stay in the same room with him, OK?
As she was angry, a big hand reached her forehead. Verian subconsciously retreated to the bed behind her and stared at him vigilantly.
Heaton's big hand paused. He seemed to understand what she was afraid of. He pursed his thin lips and spoke in an icy voice. "Relax. I'm not interested in a disabled patient."
A disabled patient?
If it were not for him, why would she become a disabled patient? Was he feeling embarrassed to say this?
Verian removed his hand. "Why do you bring me here? What do you want to do? I still have work to do. President Fudd, if there's nothing here, I'll make a move first!"
"Verian, there’s a limit. Don’t go overboard throwing a tantrum."
The man's quiet black eyes stared at her steadily.
Verian laughed mockingly. "I’m not throwing a tantrum. You cover up my kidnapping case for Nancy. This matter is not over yet."
When her words were said, she got up and wanted to leave. Heaton looked kind of impatient and pulled her back to the bed. "If you still don't listen, I can't guarantee that I won't do anything outrageous."
Outrageous?
What he did to her last night was not enough to be counted as outrageous?
"Hmph! Why? Do you want to rape me again?"
The word 'rape' sounded extremely ear-piercing, and anger was filled in the eyes of the man. However, he bore with his temper and sneered at her. "Look at you! Do you really hope that I'll rape you again?"
"Pervert!"
She raised her hand and wanted to slap him out of anger and embarrassment. Her hand was intercepted by Heaton in the air. The man grabbed her slender wrist and slowly held her hand. With his eyes as calm as water, he stared at her. She was clearly still angry, but now her temper was completely gone. He said, "Take a good rest here. I'll go have a meeting first."
After Heaton left, Verian laid on the bed. She was extremely tired. While muttering in her heart, she wondered why she did not insist on leaving when he asked her to stay. Nonetheless, the bed was really soft and comfortable, and she was too exhausted. She hugged the pillow and fell asleep in a short while.
...
Heaton, who was out of the lounge, instructed Kush. "Go to the drugstore to buy a stick of ointment."
Kush could not respond to it for a while. "Huh? Where did you get hurt, Boss? What ointment to buy?"
"Ointment for abrasions."
"Oh." Kush replied. However, he was still confused. When he walked to the door of the office, Heaton frowned and reminded him. "For women."
Kush understood immediately and nodded several times.
...
At the creative department on the 60th floor...
"It's over."
Heaton took an ointment in his hand and turned his body to one side. He asked her in a low voice. "Still painful?"
"Ah?"
His sudden concern left her with a blank mind, and she heard him asking again in a serious manner. "I'm asking you, does it still hurt?"
"..."
His handsome face looked solemn and noble when he asked this embarrassing question. However, it did not appear weird at all. He did not even look like he was avoiding it. He was being very frank.
"..."
The man took her arm and pulled her into his arms. He stared at her scorchingly. He said a line that made her confused. "You need to get used to this kind of thing soon."
The process of applying medicine was more tormented than last night...
When it was finished, she kept pulling her skirt down with her hands, fearing that what was inside would be seen. With a deep meaning, Heaton said to her. "And me."
"Hm?"
She did not understand, and the man said again. "You need to get used to me sooner."
"..."
Why should she get used to him? Could it be that he thought there was another chance to take advantage of her next time?
