Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 666

"Yanni, stop this at once!"

Lucy struggled, but Yanni was strong. He locked her arms tightly—to the point where he almost crushed them.

Yanni answered the phone and put it to Lucy's ear. He whispered so that only she could hear him; he taunted, "Didn't you want to talk to your fiancé? The call's connected; why aren't you saying anything?"

"You—"

River, on the other end of the call, asked anxiously, "Lulu, where are you? I can't find you anywhere!"

Lucy did not know how to explain her situation, so she said calmly, "I'm… I'm fine. I can't make it for the test, though. Why don't you head back to the school?"

River was confused. "But we're here now. Even if you don't want to do the test, please tell me where you are. How are you going to get back to school?"

"River, stop asking me these questions."

Lucy did not know how to answer him. She could not tell him that she was kidnapped by a man, the father of her child. She felt helpless.

River was agitated. "Lulu, did something happen? Please tell me, Lulu."

Lucy bit her lip and closed her eyes.

Yanni whispered in her ear, "Tell him. Tell him who you are with. If he really loves you, he won't mind it."

What an evil man! Lucy glared at him.

Yanni sneered. "If you don't tell him, then I'll help you."

Yanni tore her skirt open. Lucy trembled and screamed, "What are you doing?!"

When River heard her screamed, he panicked. "Lulu! Lulu! What happened? Were you kidnapped? Lulu, say something!"

'Lulu? So endearing!'

Yanni smirked. "Tell him who you are with right now and what you are currently doing."

"Yanni!"

Yanni pushed Lucy to the edge. Her eyes were red.

River almost lost his mind. "Lulu, where are you now?! Tell me!"

"Yanni, we cannot be together. Every time I'm with you, I will think of my dead sister. I bet you do too."

Sam's death was an unbearable pain for both of them.

"So we should punish ourselves for Sam's death?" Yanni had punished himself for more than ten years. He knew that he had to start a new life, and the memories he had with Sam should stay in the past.

Sam would always have a place in his heart. It would not affect him if he had a new life and a new partner.

Lucy shook her head. "I don't know."

"I think this is just an excuse for you to leave me and start a new life with that River guy," Yanni said coldly. He got down from the bed and lit a cigarette.

"So what? Yanni, I have the right to chase after the life and happiness that I want for myself. Furthermore, you can have any woman that you want, why me?"

"Yes, why do I bother with you? I was so naive to believe you when you said that you love me. Yet, Lucy, you left me to be with another man. How heartless of you!" Yanni was so furious that he threw the ashtray onto the floor. He glared at Lucy with anger.

He said slowly, "Were you not curious how I found you? I'll tell you. I'm Mr. Q. I have been looking for you; even when I found you, I did not trouble you. I maintained my distance and chatted with you as a stranger. Do you know how sad I was when I found out you're going to marry another man, a man you're having a child together with?"

Even when Yanni was with Sam, he had never opened his heart out like that. Lucy took his heart and crushed it. She claimed that she loved him, but that was all a lie.
