Rain started pouring from the sky.

Wilson fainted on the field under the dark sky. The rainwater pooling under his body had a bright red tint to it.

When Ruby rushed over, her eyes were filled with surprise and distressed.

“Wilson!” Wilson vaguely heard a woman’s voice as rain pattered down on his eyelids. He used all his energy to open his eyes and saw the slender figure of a woman through his blurry vision.

He smiled indifferently and mumbled with his hoarse and powerless voice, “Serene, you’re back.”

Ruby knelt down in the rain, helped him up and felt a sore under his eyes. “Wilson, you idiot! Why didn’t you fight back when you’ve been hurt so badly?!”

Ruby used all her energy to carry Wilson on her back. The slender and tall woman managed to carry a big-sized man on her back. She slowly walked out of the Dark Cabinet step by step.

“Wilson, you have to persevere. Who’s gonna rescue Serene if you die?!” Ruby was always calm but right now she had a man behind her back and blood was flowing out of his chest. Even though it was raining, Ruby could feel a patch of warm liquid on her back.

“Wilson, I’m telling you this, don’t think that I will help you rescue Serene! You can only rescue her with your own power!

“You have to stay alive!

“Wilson, do you hear me?!”

The Dark Cabinet had many spies and undercover guards.

The chief of the undercover guards stopped Ruby. “Black Rose, do you really want to betray the organization and its leader to save this traitor?”

Ruby placed Wilson on the ground, took out her gun and pointed it at the chief’s temple. “Let Wilson and I out!”

“Ruby, you’re crazy! You’re betraying us! Do you know what will happen if you betray the organization?! You will be hunted down for the rest of your life!”

Ruby laughed coldly. “Didn’t you say that you like me? Are you helping me now that I’m in danger?”

“Ruby! Your actions are betraying our organization!”

“Help Wilson up!”

The undercover guard helped Wilson up from the floor and the three of them came out from the Dark Cabinet.

When they reached the outside of the Dark Cabinet, Thompson drove the car over. After she opened the door, Ruby kicked the undercover guard who helped Wilson. She stuffed Wilson into the back seat and quickly boarded the car.

The black car quickly left the Dark Cabinet.

The chief of the undercover guards quickly ordered his people, “Shoot them! Kill them!”

Thompson took a look at what was going on behind them and reminded Ruby, “Sit tight.”

The bullets hit the back bumper of the car but the car was bulletproof. Together with Thompson’s speedy driving, the black car soon disappeared in the dark night.

They reached one of Ruby’s private villas.

Ruby lowered her eyes slightly and a faint smile flashed through her pretty face. “My feelings toward him might not be love, but it might be reliance. I’ve grown up with him and he’s always been like an older brother to me, standing in front of me to protect me whenever there’s danger. Now that he’s in danger, I definitely have to protect him. Serene is someone he wants to protect his entire life, so I will protect whoever he wants to protect when he has fallen.”

Ruby finished the wine in her glass. “You have similar thoughts to me. The Dark Organization had always been the Light Organization’s opposition. Now that we’ve betrayed the organization, we can form an alliance with the Dark Organization.”

“However, I have to remind you of this. The leader of the Dark Organization, Blaine, is a cunning fella and there’s a possibility of him defrauding us.”

Ruby curled her red lips and said, “I have an advantage over him and he owes me a favor.”

Thompson widened his eyes and looked at him. “You have an advantage over Blaine? Black Rose, I’ve really underestimated you. Even White Wolf might not be able to go near Blaine and you actually have something against him? What kind of advantage do you have?”

Ruby put down the wine glass, turned around and walked toward the bedroom. She said softly, “We had s*x.”

Thompson choked on the wine. “Cough, cough, cough, cough, cough! You evil woman!”
