“Blergh…”
Verian threw up onto Yanni’s body.
Yanni was speechless.
This woman…
The corner of Yanni’s mouth twitched while he frowned tightly.
Heaton’s woman really do know how to torture people!
Hence all Yanni could do was grab a tissue and hand it to her. After Verian took the tissue and wiped her mouth clean, she mumbled incoherently, “Heaton… I feel awful… Carry me home…”
Yanni gritted his teeth while maintaining a bitter look on his face, he stared at that patch of vomit that had stained his formal shirt, he frowned deeper.
Verian’s cell phone began to ring in her pocket.
“Huu… Phone… My phone’s ringing… Heaton, answer the call for me…”
Yanni fished out her cell phone from her pocket. It was Heaton who was calling.
Yanni picked up the call immediately, “Your woman is at the Shallow Bar, she’s completely wasted and puked all over me.”
Heaton’s dark gaze dimmed and said, “I’ll be there immediately.”
What was Rainie doing in a bar? Why was she with Yanni?
With that thought in mind, Heaton felt slightly displeased.
…
It did not take Heaton long to arrive at the Shallow Bar.
The moment he entered the bar, he noticed Yanni holding onto Verian tightly.
Heaton strode over and immediately grabbed Verian into his arms. He spoke to Verian in a slightly cold tone, “Who let you drink?”
Verian grabbed onto his coat and when she heard that familiar manly voice, she squinted her eyes and looked up at the man in front of her.
Heaton…
“Heaton… I feel awful… I feel dizzy… I want to go home…”
The moment she was done speaking, she collapsed into Heaton’s arms.
Heaton hugged her while glaring menacingly at Yanni with his dark eyes, “What’s going on?”
“There’s no need for you to look at me so cautiously, I’m uninterested in your woman. It’s your woman who clung onto me and even puked all over me.”
Yanni teasingly laughed while pointing at the stain on his chest.
Heaton carried Verian in his arms while his gaze seemed menacingly cold. He said, “I’ll transfer the money for your shirt into your account tomorrow.”
When he was about to leave with Verian, the flustered woman in his arms mumbled, “Serene…”
Heaton noticed Serene who was slumped over on the table.
Truly…a mess.
Both of these women were actually bold enough to get drunk without having any guard up.
Heaton immediately gave Wilson a call. “Serene is completely wasted in the Shallow Bar, I need to take care of Verian, come over.”
After Wilson arrived at the bar, each man carried their own woman home.
…
Heaton made some hangover soup and hot porridge in the Shallow Bay Mansion.
Verian was completely dazed in the bedroom. She felt nauseous too.
When Heaton had just entered the bedroom, he noticed Verian was slumped over by the toilet bowl puking.
Heaton gently patted her back. After Verian was done puking, she knelt beside the toilet bowl while staring at him with teary eyes, “Heaton... I feel awful…”
Heaton coldly said, “So, now you know how awful it feels like?”
Verian slouched in his arms while Heaton picked her up, rinsed her mouth and brought her back on the bed.
Heaton wrung a hot towel and gave it to her to wipe her hands and face. Verian laid on the side of the bed while staring at him with her watery eyes.
“Heaton…”
Heaton did not reply and all he assumed was her calling out to him subconsciously.
“Heaton… What should I do…if you’re not around in future…”
The door was opened.
Lucy stood in front of him. Yanni wanted to hug her but since he was still wearing the same shirt Verian puked on and was worried that she would mind so he did not approach her. He asked with a smile, “Why’d you lock yourself in the room? Didn’t you say that you made me some food?”
“I tossed it away,” Lucy replied coldly.
Yanni obviously knew she was angry but upon staring at her furious look, Yanni could not help himself from laughing.
“You wouldn’t actually think that I have a mistress out there, would you? Are you jealous?”
Lucy bit her lips. “Is that not the case?”
“It’s a misunderstanding.”
“Yanni Quain, let’s break up.”
“Sammie, I told you, you’re not allowed to leave me.”
Lucy looked at him and spoke in a calm tone, “I’m serious, we’re incompatible.”
The bottom of Yanni’s eyes had a flash of fury. He absolutely detested the mention of breaking up from her. Especially when she meant it seriously, that was even more offending to him.
Yanni gritted his teeth and said, “I can explain about today but I don’t wish to hear another mention of breaking up.”
However, the real reason for Lucy's intentions of breaking up were not solely based on tonight’s incident. The more important thing was, she was never Sam ever since the beginning and had always been Lucy.
She originally intended to seek vengeance for her sister but after being with Yanni, she realized how much Yanni cared about her sister and so, she could not bring herself to do it. Perhaps, if her sister knew about it in the afterlife, she would not allow her to do anything that would harm Yanni.
She wanted to give up, so the only way she could do it was breaking up with Yanni.
She could longer keep up with this lie.
Everytime he stared at her gently and called her Sammie, she wanted to tell him that she was not Sammie but she yearned for his affection. Hence, she kept losing the opportunity of telling him time and time again.
Lucy understood she could not bring herself from telling him that in her lifetime.
“Yanni Quian, regardless of a mistress, it doesn’t bother me, so let’s break up.”
Yanni violently kicked the door. The door vibrated from the impact.
“I don’t have a mistress out there! You’re the only woman I have from the past, present and even in future!”
