Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 255

It was as if Verian’s entire body was frozen. She became stiff standing where she stood as she watched the scene in a daze.

Under the dim light, Xavier was kissing another woman. It looked like it was very hard to tear them away from each other.

Serene could not help but curse. "Damn! He’s such a jerk!"

Serene folded her sleeves and wanted to come forward but was stopped by Wilson.

"Why are you stopping me? I want to go and beat that bastard up until he regains his consciousness."

With a calm expression, Wilson took a glance at her. He spoke with a scornful tone, "With your abilities?"

Serene was angry. "Hmph, you look down on me!"

Gracefully, Wilson took off his white coat and handed it to Serene. He ordered her, "Hold this."

"Why?"

Under Serene’s puzzled gaze, Wilson moved his long legs to walk toward the bar in his simple white shirt. His beautiful hands that usually held scalpels suddenly grabbed onto Xavier’s shoulder as his fist firmly hit against the right side of Xavier’s face.

Yuna immediately held Xavier. "Xavier, are you alright?"

Using his thumb to wipe away the blood from the corner of his mouth, Xavier lifted his black eyes to stare at Wilson.

Wilson slowly said, "Go back with me."

"Are you confused about the whole situation? I’m not your good brother, Heaton Fudd!"

He suddenly punched Wilson with his fist.

Yuna made a gesture to the bodyguards behind her. A few bodyguards in black suits surrounded Wilson.

Serene ran over and stood in front of Wilson. She shouted to Xavier, full of pretence. "Is it proud to have many men with you? Are you a man? If you have the guts, fight alone!"

Xavier waved his fist toward Serene’s little face, and Serene screamed out of fear. She closed her eyes tightly. However, after one second… two seconds… three seconds… she did not feel any pain. She only felt a strong wind blowing at her ears.

Serene opened one of her eyes first. Then she opened the other. In front of her, there were two fists. Wilson was holding onto Xavier’s fists in front of her.

As she raised her eyes, she saw Xavier’s ferocious eyes. She immediately ran behind Wilson, her little hands grabbing onto his shirt. She whispered in a low voice. "Master, there are a lot of people. Can you fight them all? Should we just escape?"

Wilson took a look at the bodyguards and spoke with a calm face. "We can’t escape."

Serene tightly clenched at Wilson’s shirt. "Then, what should we do? Perhaps we can call the police?"

Verian walked to Yuna and locked eyes on the platinum male ring she wore on her neck. Her heart felt like it had been crushed into pieces. She reached out her hand and grabbed Yuna’s necklace…

Yuna became angry. "What are you doing?"

However, Verian totally ignored her. She held the ring tightly in her hand and moved it in front of Xavier. Word by word, she slowly opened her mouth and said, "This ring is the wedding ring I gave you. Without my permission, how could you give this ring to another woman? You said you’re Xavier but I don’t believe it. I don’t believe that my Heaton died completely. I don’t believe that you don’t recognize this ring at all. Heaton, come home with me, please?"

Xavier turned his eyes and stared at her. He moved closer toward her.

He took the ring from her hand and suddenly threw it to the floor. The ring tumbled. It was uncertain which dark corner the ring had tumbled to that it could not be seen anymore.

"You want to use a ring to cheat me to go back with you? After going back, are you going to turn me into Heaton Fudd with that Jarret guy? I’m Xavier. As long as I’m here, Heaton Fudd won’t appear!"

Verian fixed her gaze on him, her tears spilling over.

When Yuna’s men were about to start fighting with Wilson, Wilson’s own men arrived.

Uncle George rushed to the place and spoke something beside Yuna’s ear. Yuna pulled Xavier and said, "Let’s leave!"

Xavier made a sudden snatch and took the document from Yuna’s hands. His eyebrows frowned even deeper.

Yuna stared at him and asked, "Perhaps you’ve… Have you really lost your memory? When I saved you, I really didn’t expect you to be the president of the Fudd Group in North City."

When Xavier finished reading the information, he pursed his lips and said in a cold voice. "Do you have more information on Heaton Fudd?"

"What do you want to do with detailed information regarding Heaton Fudd?"

Xavier looked at Yuna and raised his eyebrows. He said, "If I’m the president of the Fudd Group, you should be grateful. The man you’re interested in has noble status."

A smile appeared on the corner of Yuna’s lips. "However, you’re married to Verian Mont. I don’t want to be a mistress. Could it be that…you’re willing to divorce Verian for me?"

Xavier smiled evilly. "If I manage to go back to the Fudd family and become Heaton Fudd, of course I’ll be removing such an obstacle like Verian Mont."

Yuna smiled in satisfaction. She said, "Uncle George, go and find out everything about Heaton Fudd!"

"Sure. I’ll do it right away."

"Xavier, I didn’t expect you to be so cruel. You can abandon your own wife just like that. You’re so cold-blooded. But…I like it."

Yuna lowered her head, her red lips coming close to Xavier’s thin lips. However, Xavier pushed her away.

"Why? Just now, you said you want to marry me. Now, you despise me?"

"I don’t like kissing women whose mouths smell of alcohol."

Yuna looked at the inwardly evil man. "Ha!" She then breathed out some air against her palm and smelt it in a serious manner. "Does my mouth really smell like alcohol?"

"Hiss... Now you don’t like it anymore. Just now, didn’t you kiss this woman whose mouth smelt like alcohol in the pub!"
