Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 217

It was indeed without a doubt that Wilson was a well achieved man. However, ever since she met Heaton, her heart and eyes only had room for Heaton.

As impressive of a man as Wilson was, there was no way for him to pull her heartstrings.

He seemed excited for the answer. However, it was such a rare opportunity for Verian to leave him hanging.

Besides, it was usually he who got to tease her and she had very little chances to tease him back.

“What if I tell you…that Wilson is handsomer than you. Would you get mad?”

“What do you think?”

Heaton’s expression was as cold as the wind, waves of it seemed to emanate from the bottom of his eyes. His tone sounded calm but was peculiarly terrifying.

Verian’s neck recoiled as she smiled widely while hugging his neck. She stuck her tiny face at him and said, “I don’t know what other people might think but in my eyes, my Heaton is the handsomest man.”

After she finished that statement, Verian felt goosebumps all over her.

Even though that was how she thought in her heart.

However, would that be a little too romantically cheesy?

However, it seemed Heaton was enjoying such flirting. In an instant, his menacing gaze seemed to transform into glimmers of delight. He said, “Yeah, I’m free this Friday noon. We’ll grab our marriage certificate from the Civil Affairs Bureau.

It would be inappropriate to accept the marriage certificate when her baby bump was obvious.

Heaton was a conservative man and it was deeply rooted in his bones. However, the way he came to know Verian had completely derailed his entire worldview on human relations.

As long as he chose a woman he loved, he would never deflect responsibility.

However, before he officiated Verian legally, she had the right to know some things.

Such as his split personality disorder.

Verian felt her heart flutter as she said, “Are you being serious? I don’t want you to be forced to marry me because of my pregnancy.”

“I am not the kind of person that could accept people tolerating others.”

Verian’s lips unknowingly cracked a smile.

Verian’s tiny hand grabbed onto his huge hand as she toyed with his attractively long and slender fingers and felt the empty spot around his ring finger.

She wondered if she should buy a ring for Heaton.

State Border Hotel.

Serene was bawling her eyes out while keeping her head buried in her legs for a really long time by the hotel’s main entrance. Her eyes were red from crying.

The bell boy by the door felt helpless as he said, “Miss, if you have to cry, could you cry by the flowerbed? It’ll affect our image if you keep crying by the door.”

Serene said while sobbing, “I didn’t mean any of it. I’ve been dating for three years with my boyfriend so how could he dump me for a wealthy woman. No… I have to enter and confront him!”

Serene immediately stood up and stormed into the hotel.

The bell boy noticed that she had been crying for an hour and actually felt bad for her so he did not stop her. As long as she stopped crying by the door.

Not long after Serene entered the hotel, a VIP guest entered the hotel.

“Master Jarret!”

Wilson had already changed out of his white lab coat. He was wearing a black windbreaker as he stood on the side elegantly like he was a beautiful scene to marvel at.

“Serene…”

Finally, Chainer felt slightly guilty. He reached out and wanted to grab her. However, Gwen furiously said, “Serene, you’re already disturbing me and my Chainer! Leave now!”

“Miss Sue, you actually like a man this scummy. Fine, I’ll give him to you! The only thing is, Miss Sue, you better hope there isn’t another wealthier woman out there that’ll appear or else, Chainer might dump you without hesitation!”

“You!”

Just as Serene was about to dodge Gwen’s slap, a clear, manly voice suddenly echoed toward them. “Serene, you agreed to have dinner together so why’d you come over to disturb someone else’s proposal?”

The man’s voice was clear. It had hints of discipline but was also filled with love.

Serene was stunned as she turned around to stare blankly at the man.

Hades Jarret?

Was he not working the nightshift at the hospital? Why did he come over?

Serene’s mind was in shambles and before she could piece together Wilson’s purpose of coming all the way here, her waist was being grabbed by a huge hand.

Chainer had a puzzled gaze and was slightly at the same time. He said, “Serene! You said that I was cheating on you! When did you start hooking up with that man!”

Initially, Serene wanted to explain. However, on a much deeper thought, she felt no need for an explanation since they were about to get engaged.

Serene’s tear-stained tiny face suddenly smiled delightfully as she looked toward Wilson. She said, “So, only you’re allowed to do something and I’m not? Chainer, let me tell you this, my Wilson is a hundred times better than you! You’re nothing more than a sugar baby! However, my Wilson is a hero! Let me tell you this Chainer, I was just toying with you. The man I love is Wilson!”

Chainer grew even more agitated when he was being insulted so worthlessly by Serene. He said, “Serene, don’t take me for a fool! You’re just putting on a show for me, right?”

“Why should I put on a show for you! Are you blind? Didn’t you notice my Wilson is much more handsome and elegant than you? Why should I let go of such an exceptional man to love a huge, cheating f*ckboy like you!”

After she was done, Serene turned around and stood on her toes while hugging Wilson by the neck with her tiny arms. She immediately kissed the man’s thin lips.
