Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 161

Verian’s whole body was drenched when she entered the black Bentley. She hugged herself and shivered.

Yanni took off his jacket and used it to cover her slender shoulder. He ordered the driver at the front, “Turn up the heater’s temperature!”

“Yes, President Quain.”

Yanni looked at Verian, who was curled up by the side and lost alone in thought. He was silent for some time before finally opening his mouth to ask, “Verian, you should give up. Between you and Heaton Fudd, it’s just a game of lies. If you really lost your heart in this game of lies, you’ll be the one who’s hurt the most in the end.”

Verian tightly bit her pale lips. Her face remained lowered and did not make a noise.

She knew that Heaton might not have loved her but when she saw him meeting and him being intimate with another woman, her heart still hurt as if it had been cut by knives.

When the black Bentley reached Yanni’s private villa, the heavy rain outside had no means of stopping and continuing.

Yanni hugged Verian Mont and entered the villa with an umbrella over their heads.

Wanelle was about to descend the car with a cake in her hands and instead, she saw the scene where Yanni was hugging Verian and entered the villa.

It was Verian Mont again! Why was Verian Mont all over the place!

However, why did this Verian come over to Yanni’s house? Was she not with Heaton?

Thinking about this, Wanelle quickly took out her cellphone and took a photo of the scene.

The rain was very heavy and they were about to enter the house. Wanelle originally could not take a clear photo but when they were at the door, Yanni put down the umbrella and hugged Verian over to him before carefully taking off the jacket that was on her. Wanelle quickly pressed the button and took a few zoomed photos. In the photos, although the faces of the man and woman were blurry, it was possible to identify who they were.

Humph, Verian wanted to snatch Yanni Quain from her, no way!

Yanni was a piece of meat that she had her eyes on first. Since Verian wanted to touch something that she had her eyes on, she should not blame her for being cruel!

However, this could not calm the anger in Wanelle’s heart. She looked at the cake resting on the passenger seat and gritted her teeth in anger.

She originally heard from uncle Quain that it was Yanni’s birthday and he had refused to go home when uncle Quain had asked him to come back to have his birthday at home. He even had a fight with uncle through the phone. When she heard about this, she wanted to come over to his villa to celebrate his birthday with him with the hopes that they would get closer and might even do things that were difficult to change! But now, everything had been destroyed by Verian!

However, if Verian did not come over to Yanni Quain’s villa tonight and was caught on the spot by her tonight, she would not have had the chance to show this woman’s true ways in front of Heaton.

Do not blame her for telling Heaton about this when Verian was cheating out in the open!

She sent all the photos on her cellphone to Heaton anonymously.

After she sent them, she opened the car window and threw the cake on the passenger seat into the trash bin at the side before driving away from the villa.

When Heaton came out from Lain’s house, he received a call from Little Jelly Bean.

The little one was crying on the phone and said, frightened, “Daddy! It’s raining and there’s thunder! Jelly Bean is afraid! Can you come back quickly?!”

Heaton frowned hard. “Monty hasn’t returned yet?”

“Monty isn’t at home! Daddy, come back quick! I’m so afraid of the thunder! Wuwuwuwu…”

“Don’t hang up the phone, daddy is coming back now. You won’t be afraid if you’re talking to daddy.”

“Daddy, wuwuwuwu…”

The little one was trembling her childish voice and cried like there was no tomorrow. Heaton was worried and also angry.

He was worried about Little Jelly Bean and also about Verian’s whereabouts at the moment.

Damn it, that woman had been lying to him all this while so why was he still worried about her?

When Heaton Fudd reach Swallow Bay’s villa, Little Jelly Bean was hugging the phone and crying till her eyes were red. When she saw Heaton, she threw away the phone and tightly hugged his legs.

“Daddy! Wuwuwuwu… Jelly Bean is frightened! Jelly Bean is so afraid of thunder!”

Verian was too sad. She was so sad that she even forgot about Little Jelly Bean, she was so damned!

She was about to get out of bed and get changed but her clothes were wet from last night. Yanni gave her a pair of women's pajamas for her to wear. It should have been left behind by some woman who spent their nights at Yanni’s house. She ran out of the guest room.

Yanni was about to go over and wake her. He saw her rushing out of the room and said in a hurry, “President Quain, please borrow me a set of woman's clothing. I need to go back now.”

Yanni did not say anything and handed her a set of woman's clothing. After she changed into it, she did not even eat breakfast before rushing out from Yanni’s villa.

She went back to Swallow Bay villa by taxi and saw that Heaton’s car had already returned to the yard.

She was stunned but she continued her way into the house, wanting to make sure that Little Jelly Bean was fine.

Just as she was about to enter the house, she bumped into Heaton and Little Jelly Bean at the door.

Heaton was holding Little Jelly Bean’s hand and was about to send her to school.

Heaton’s dark eyes stared at her coldly, his voice extremely cold. “You left Little Jelly Bean alone last night, didn’t you know she would be afraid?”

“I…”

She originally went out to pursue him and she wanted to pursue him to come back home but…

Heaton lowered his head and spoke to Little Jelly Bean, “Jelly Bean, go in first. I need to speak with Monty.”

“Oh.”

After Little Jelly Bean entered the house, Heaton’s eyes on her turned even harsh and cold.

“I’m sorry. I’m wrong…”

Before Verian even finished her words of apology, her wrist was held tightly by him as she was pushed to the wall. He interrogated her, “Where did you go last night?”
