Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 1049

Yanny peeled a big pomegranate and Shayne ate most of them.

Shayne thought he should eat more pomegranate in the future.

Food that he never enjoyed eating before had become his favorite now.

Shayne enjoyed enslaving Yanny.

Hence, in the evening, Shayne, who had his eyes covered with gauze, said to Yanny with an emotionless expression, "I want to take a bath."

Yanny looked at his condition and said, "I'll help you to the bathroom. Can you take a bath yourself and call me after you’re done? "

Shayne replied coldly, "If I fall in the bathroom and become crippled, are you going to be responsible for the rest of my life?"

Yanny was preparing his pajamas as she fooled around and imitated his tone, "If you wish, I can be responsible. Why would I be an actress? If I were your wife, I would just live off you.”

Shayne held back his smile. He was blind yet he was being annoying as usual. "I didn’t know that you’re such an ambitious person. You’re aiming to become Mrs. Shayne at such a young age?"

"How can I muddle through life if I’m not ambitious enough?" Yanny said casually.

Shayne thought to himself, ‘Go ahead, that title is yours when it’s time.’

After Yanny took his pajamas, helped him into the bathroom and told him, "The shower is here. You can take off your clothes and take a bath. Tell me if you need anything else.”

Shayne grabbed her hand tightly as she was about to turn around and leave the room.

Yanny turned to look at him and said, "Huh? What's wrong? "

Shayne dragged her into the shower room and pressed her against the wall. He whispered in her ear with his low and raspy voice, "Why go through all this trouble, or do you really want to be responsible for the rest of my life? Hmm?"

Yanny was speechless.

"Help me undress."

He held her tiny hands and put them on his belt.

They ended up stalling around in the bathroom for two hours.

Although Shayne could not see, he could still feel. He was still good at doing that thing. He tormented Yanny for quite a long time. She looked like she was about to collapse. It was as though she was the one who was sick and injured instead of him.

Shayne called Henry and asked him to check the CCTV at the residential corridor to find out the culprit.

Shayne asked her, "Have you offended anyone?"

Yanny answered directly, "If quarrels are considered an offense, then I think I have offended many people."

Shayne snorted and teased her, "No wonder you want to suck up to me. You have so many enemies out there. Seems like you’re quite a rough one."

Yanny’s lips twitched, “Well… I’m not that bad.”

"Do you think it’s Cara?" Shayne knew that Yanny did not have a good relationship with her family.

Yanny analyzed the situation and said, "There’s no reason for her to do this. We hated each other for quite some time now. Besides, I haven't contacted the Jacobs family for a while. No matter how much Cara hates me, she won't come at me for no reason."

Shayne understood what she said and asked, "Who do you think it is?"

Yanny peeked at him and hesitated.

Shayne pinched her earlobe. He was quite strong and it hurt her. "Don’t hesitate. Tell me honestly who you offended."

Yanny kept silent.

"Tell me." Shayne frowned and he sounded quite cold.

"I think it might be Vivien."

Yanny was not embarrassed to say it out loud, but after all, Vivien used to work under Shayne. It somehow seemed a bit strange to accuse Vivien in front of Shayne.

Besides, Vivien and Shayne had quite a complicated relationship.

Shayne was not surprised at all and Yanny’s thoughts happened to coincide with his thoughts. He also suspected Vivien because she seemed to be the most suspicious person for now.

Shayne remained silent. She thought that he did not believe her, so she explained, "Master Shayne, you gave me the role of the female lead for ‘The Whisper of Death’ and that definitely angered Vivien. She had no guts to take revenge on you but she could vent her anger on me.”

Of course, Shayne knew that. He was more concerned about another thing. "Why did you hesitate to tell me about it just now?"

"Well… Vivien cheated on you, yet you allowed her to stay in the entertainment industry. I bet you must have liked her before, so I thought it would seem like I’m jealous if I mentioned her."

Yanny was always a straightforward person. She rarely faltered but she was stuttering just now.

However, Shayne noticed something else hearing her stutter. He raised his eyebrows and asked disapprovingly, "Is jealousy a bad thing?"

Yanny could not get what he meant for a while, so she said half-seriously, "Jealousy is certainly not a good thing. It makes people ugly."

Shayne ran his big hands through her thick and soft hair. Then, he approached her with his handsome face. He teased her yet he sounded serious at the same time, "Then you can stay ugly. You’ll look cute."

He simply did not like or care about Vivien.

There was only one thing that Yanny could remember. Shayne hated being cheated on. It disgusted him.

The most sweltering season was about to hit North City. On the 30th of July, Cara found a postcard and a letter from Cambridge, England in the green mailbox at the Jacob's mansion door.

Sender: Samuel.

Receiver: Cara.

Cara opened the envelope, read the whole letter, and smirked excitedly. It turned out that her sister still kept in touch with Samuel.

She had kept in touch with him behind Master Shayne's back.

Cara visited Jinn’s Group and waited for Shayne for an hour.

Cara could not hold back her excitement when he came out of the conference room surrounded by the top management. She trotted toward him.

"Master Shayne, I have something to tell you."

Shayne's eyes were cold. He only tolerated her because she was Lina’s daughter. Although he hated Lina, she saved his life. She was his lifesaver. Hence, he only tolerated Cara for that reason.

Cara wanted to bug him but he did not allow her.

"What is it?" He had no patience. It was merely a few seconds but he had already raised his wrist to look at the time twice.

Cara bit her lips. She was secretly feeling excited as she was about to reveal her sister’s true character. Master Shayne might dump Yanny immediately. How could that not make her excited?

"Master Shayne, I miss my sister very much after she moved out of our house. I know that you and my sister keep in touch. Can you ask my sister to go home and visit my father once in a while?"

She was being very straightforward, but Shayne sneered, "The Jacobs want her to go home often?"

"Of course. Oh, by the way, Master Shayne, my sister received a letter from England. The sender sent it to our home. Can you help me to pass it to my sister?"

Cara handed the letter to Shayne.

She was very careful when she opened the letter. She did not rip it. After reading the letter, she glued the envelope again, so it should not be a big problem.

Shayne took the letter, and when his gaze fell on the sender's name, his eyes turned cold and sharp instantly.

It was a letter from Samuel.
