Yanny was awakened by Cindy’s spam calls.

Cindy sounded all keyed up on the other side of the phone and excitedly asked, “Yan, didn’t you say that you and Shayne got back together?”

“Yes. What’s the matter?”

“Quick, take a look at what’s trending on the Internet right now. Why does it say that Shayne and Vivien are together again?”

Yanny was stunned, “Vivien?”

“Yes, it's one of the trending searches on the Internet right now! People are suspecting that Vivien and the son of the Jinn’s family got back together! There are even pictures!”

Yanny grabbed her iPad and checked the trending searches. The post which revealed the information had 30 thousand comments, 100 thousand likes, and 50 thousand shares in a short period of three hours.

Yanny frowned. Was it that popular?

She clicked into the photo. It was a photo of Vivien hugging Shayne at the Luna Mansion. The photo was blurry but the two of them did seem pretty intimate especially when Vivien was looking upward at Shayne and he was staring down at her. That image was surely an eye-catching one. They looked like a beautiful couple.

“Did you call Shayne and ask him about this?”

Yanny shrugged and she said, “I was there when they hugged.”

“What? How can you tolerate this? Yan, why didn’t I realize that you’re such a tolerant person before this?”

In fact, Yanny could not stand it at all and simply said, “I think Vivien wanted to get back together with Shayne that day, but he chased her out. As for this photo, Vivien must have taken the liberty to take this picture secretly. She must be the one who exposed this picture as well.”

“Damn, Vivien is such a b*tch! She’s simply trying to blackmail you.”

Yanny’s brows furrowed as she pondered and said, “I don’t quite understand her actually. If Vivien knows Master Shayne well, she wouldn’t have leaked the photo. Shayne does not seem like someone who is fond of public threats. She might even provoke Shayne by doing this. Perhaps… she has another motive?”

“Now that you mention it, I remembered something. I saw a press release yesterday and it said that Vivien was confirmed to be the female lead in the latest drama, The Whisper of the Death! Yanny rubbed her neck and said, “That’s possible. Gwenny, I have some business to take care of, let’s speak later.”

Shayne’s meeting just ended when Henry asked hastily, “Master Shayne, Vivien told the media that you and her got back together and the news is trending everywhere right now. Should we take down the news?”

Shayne tapped his slender fingers on the table. He was contemplating whether to take down the news or not when he received a notification on his phone.

It was a message from Yanny, [Master Shayne, do you want to come over for dinner tonight? I bought a lot of food.]

Shayne’s lips curled upward. He stared at the screen of his phone and said to Henry, “Just leave it. Since she craves popularity so much, let her be.”

She must have spent hundreds of millions of bucks just for the sake of gaining popularity.

Henry said in surprise, “That’s it?”

Shayne frowned and loosened the tie on his neck as he said, “Contact the production team of ‘The Whisper of the Death’ and tell them that I want to recommend someone who I think can take up the female lead role.”

Henry was dumbfounded. He was too shocked to react and asked, “Vivien?”

Shayne cast him a glare. “Are you blind?”

Henry thought to himself, ‘What a harsh way to mock someone.’

He was still wondering why Master Shayne wanted to recommend her as the female lead when she cheated on him last time.

“Oh, so you want to recommend Ms. Yanny…?”

“Of course. I’m both of you and Cameron’s number one saviour! Alright, I had too much drama for now, so I’m going to go lay in bed.”

Vivien never imagined that Shayne would take revenge on her using such a method!

She could not help but to call Shayne. However, the person on the other side asked coldly as soon as the call got connected, “Who are you?”

Vivien felt a bolt from the blue. How could Shayne delete her contact number?

However, Vivien managed to keep the smile on her face as she asked, “Master Shayne, I’m Vivien.”

“Oh, it’s you. What’s wrong?” Shayne’s reaction was as cold as usual. He did not sound like he missed her at all.

Vivien complained in a coquettish tone, “Master Shayne, how can you be so cruel to me? I know you’re still angry about Joel and I, but I don’t love him and I only love you. Someone set me and Joel up. I was wronged!”

“Oh, well, I’m not angry anymore. Do you have anything else to say?”

His tone was emotionless as usual. He sounded like he was a passer-by, but not the victim in this issue.

Vivien cried as she said, “Master Shayne, how can you give the role to another person? I liked that character. Master Shayne, can you give me that role instead for the sake of our past relationship?”

“Do you like that character?” Shayne’s lips curled upward into a smirk.

“Yes, I really like it a lot. Master Shayne…”

However, Shayne changed the subject swiftly. His voice was emotionless and relentless as usual. He said, “In that case, do you know that I hate you a lot?”

Vivien was left speechless.
