Obsession novel Chapter 6

I sighed as I got my riding pants on. Mostly everybody went back home because it's the weekend.

I didn't want to go home. I got boots on and I locked the dorm and went downstairs.

I was walking down the corridor when I saw Grayson talking to someone who looked just like him. Maybe slightly different? He had a different hair style, but they looked really similar.

I tried to eavesdrop, but soon I heard Grayson call me. I sighed and walked to him.

They both were staring at me. I walked to him and he smirks.

"Why were you eavesdropping Ms. Stone?" Grayson asks and I shrug.

"I wasn't eavesdropping Mr. Dolan." I say and the dude that looks like Grayson lends his hand out.

"I'm Ethan." He says, and smiles.

"I'm Skye." I say and he continues to smile.

"Well it's nice to meet you Skye." Ethan says and I smile.

"You too." I smile back and glance at Grayson, who was sending death glares to Ethan, with his jaw clenched. Damn. He looked hot when he was angry. But why was he angry?

"Anyway Skye, I will see you hopefully soon." Ethan says and smiles brightly, making me blush slightly. He was the complete opposite of his brother.

"Sure thing, I should get going anyways." I say and Ethan nods.

I give him one last smile and walk off.

I walk outside and start making my way to the barn. The barn is a really beautiful and peaceful place.

I walk down the path and finally I reached the barn. I grabbed myself a halter and walked to a beautiful grey horse. I didn't necessarily wanna ride Grayson's horse, I mean, his horse was beautiful and all but, I'll stick to something that's not his.

I put a halter on him and walked him to the pole and tied him up. I grabbed a soft brush from the barn's tack room and brushed him down.

I brushed his whole body down. I put a bridle on him, and then put a saddle on and tightened it.

I climbed in him and walked into the forest. I felt like going for a outride, since I never do and I want to explore.

I didn't walk in the path, I walked amongst the trees. It had some type of cold feeling in the woods, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

I heard rustling coming from the trees, and it became really windy all the sudden. The trees were blowing around. The horse I was riding was ears were pricked and he stopped dead in his tracks and he was looking around. I gently patted his neck and looked around in what direction he was looking. I looked up to the sky, and the sky started turning dark.

What the actual fuck is going on?

There was dark clouds covering the sky, and the wind was really bad, to make it even better, it started to rain. Hard. I started trotting off into the direction we came, to get home soon, but with my luck, I completely got lost. I had no idea in which direction we came, and the horse started becoming restless, because he wanted to go home.

I heard a loud growl and the horse all the suddenly reared up (when the horse goes on their two back legs).

I looked past him. Seeing if I could make a quick escape.

"Don't even think about running from me. I'm much faster than you." It came back in my head again.

"Why do you want me?" I say, letting out a shakily breathe.

"Skye you're beautiful, brave and you've got this darkness about you that I love." The beast says and I shake my head.

"You don't even know me." I say and the beast purrs again, and he even looked like he was smiling.

"I know you more than you know yourself." He says and I look down.

"Please let me go." I say and he immediately snaps.

"I will never let you go. You're mine and mine only Skye, and it will always stay like that." He says and a tear slips down my cheek.

"I will protect you from everything and everyone. I'll make sure no harm comes for you." The beast says.

"Now I must go. I'll be watching you all the time. I'll be back." He says, and before I could ask for his name he disappeared.

I looked around, seeing nothing. The storm cleared up, and the sky went blue again and the wind disappeared suddenly.

I walked back for a couple of hours, finally seeing the barn in view and I went to the barn, seeing the horse standing by the barn, grazing. I sighed and I took the saddle and bridle off, and put him in the paddock and let him go. I started walking back to the school.
