After a short pause, Arielle asked, “Then, do you still remember how he looks like? What does he do for a living? How did he know my mom?”

“Why are you so eager to know about your mom’s previous lover?” Josiah asked curiously.

Arielle hesitated for a while before voicing her suspicion, “He might have something to do with my mom’s death.”

“What?” Josiah then fell into silence, dumbstruck.

After a few minutes, he spoke up, “I only know that they met each other at Jadeborough University. Perhaps he is still there, so you can try and look for him. Well, that’s all I know. He’s very mysterious, and it seems like he has a strong background. He was a bit rude, so I didn’t really like him. I didn’t interact with him much at that time.
