"Don't wake her, she needs the rest." I hear a male whisper in a corner to my right.

"I'll just place her food here sir." a women replies and then leaves the room, very quietly she shuts the door.

"I know your awake Lilliana."I open my eyes and turn to the right to see Anthony smiling at me.

"how long have I been out for." I question as I sit up and for once don't feel any pain as I moved.

"About four hours now. King Dontae came to see you." at the mention of my ex my eyebrow on one side raises.

"And what did the King want."Anthony smirks at me and I glare right back as I told my arms across my chest.

"The doctor told him he had to spend a few hours each day with you and so that's what he did." He had a knowing grin on his face that was starting to piss me off.

"And what the hell did he do while I was sleeping?" how did I not realise my mate was in the same room as me while I slept.

"He fell asleep while holding you." with that I blush and Anthony burst out laughing like a child.

"It was so cute, I just had to get a pic of you both." this made me groan at him.

"Seriously Ant!" I cover my face with both hands, hoping to hide from the king's beta and his stupidness.

"Hey at least now I will have leverage against you both."His laughter fills the room, I grab a pillow and throw it at him, it hits it's mark and I laugh at his shocked face.

"That wasn't nice." he grumbles like a baby.

"Don't care, now where's my food? This mumma is starving." I growl with an evil grin on my face. Anthony shakes his head while standing up and grabbing the tray, carefully he places it on the bed beside me.

"So the doctor says the baby is okay." I nod in response while eating the turkey salad sandwich.

"Are you okay with that?" he questioned and again I nod in response. I don't know why he wanted to talk while I was trying to eat my food.

"See I I'll get to see this one?" I could hear the excitement in his voice as he spoke, I sigh and then place my food down on the tray.

"You really need to learn to shut up when a pregnant woman is trying to eat. But yes the baby is fine since Dontae reclaimed me, it has helped. Yes I'm fine with the fact I'm pregnant again and yes you will get to see the baby this time. Now can I eat my damn food?" I growl at him, with his quick nods I go back to eating and he sits back in his seat playing on his phone.

once I've eaten my food I stand up and head out the door.

"Lil where are you going?" Anthony ask as he follows me out of the door and down the hallway.

"Back to my room." was all I said as I walked down the hall. I remember that the room once being Dontae's old room before we need, I was a little surprised that he would put me in that room of all places.

"Your room is being remodeled at this very moment." I kind of figured that would be happening after yesterday's fiasco.

"his father left me the night he was conceived, its why my father is helping him." it wasn't a complete lie I told myself. his father and I where not on very good terms anyway so it's not like he would have given a shit about his son or me at the time.

"Does he know about the child? How did Dontae take the news about your son?" Louisa places a cup in front of me and Anthony before taking a seat herself. I laugh as I remember the confused angry and hurt look Donny gave me.

"Your son was not very happy with the news, but Xaiden is my baby boy so I'm not really bothered if he likes it or not. As for my son's dad, he will know about him when he decides to grow up into a man and not a pussy whipped jerk." At the though of Xaidens father, I feel my anger growing.

"Hmm you do realise he will find out soon?" I stare at her and watch a knowing smile cross her face.

"You know?" I ask as my eyes go wide an she grins at me.

"I knew, remember I am a mother my dear, it wasn't hard to miss." I smile slowly as fear starts to take over.

"Remember three years ago?" she ask and I nod, that was when I bumped into her and her husband in the city with a small Xaiden fast asleep in my arms. Damn and I thought I hid his face well from them both.

"You never said anything at the time." I reply, I knew Anthony was confused but I had no intention on telling him anything just yet.

"It's not my place to say anything, but I will tell you I kept track of you both over the years and it is why Miguel is helping." for some reason her words comfort me, if the old king was helping with training then Xaiden was in great hands with two very strong wolves to help him through this stage in his life.

"Mother why are you here?" We all stopped dead as we hear Dontae's deep voice question from the kitchen door way. I watch as Louisa looks up at her son and Anthony does the same, slowly as if in slow motion I turn to stare at him and see he is already watching me.
