I was very wary of Alicia because she didn’t seem to be behaving normally right now.
Her face was haggard, and her eyes were unfocused. In fact, she looked as if she had gone through a major change and hadn’t even had the time to change her clothes.

However, a man like him would fall for another woman at the drop of a hat.
There was no need for me to spend my time warning other women away from him, as it would simply be a waste of energy.
Alicia suddenly laughed maniacally and took a step forward, staring intently at me. “Are you laughing at me? Do you know that Jonathan has completely ceased cooperation with the Zimmer family?
“There’s no way he’ll help me now, and that’s caused me to become a laughingstock within my social circle. Is that why you’re laughing at me?”
I frowned and took a step back. Just as I was about to turn around and leave, Alicia moved to stand
in my way again.
