Laura, who was standing not far away, shot Noelle a smug look. "I'm not dying with you losers."
Just then, Ivy walked up beside her and glanced toward the table where Noelle and the others were hiding, smiling with delight.
"Noelle, did you ever imagine this day would come? Get out here, or I'll have my men fire a shot."
Noelle and Mia stayed put. Ivy shoved Laura forward and instructed her, "Go and get them out here."
Laura was stunned. "M-Me?"
"If not you, then who? Do you think I'm going in there?" Ivy snapped and pointed the gun at her.
There was no way she was falling for any tricks now. Since she had no idea what tricks Noelle and Mia had up their sleeves, she wasn't about to approach the cunning bitches herself.
Laura stared at the gun and protested. "But I did so much for you."
But Ivy slapped her hard across the face. "And weren't you the one yelling insults at me just now? Well, keep talking. Why'd you stop?"
Since she was utterly terrified, Laura stared at the gun and could barely say a word.
Ivy coldly repeated herself. "Go now! Did you not hear me?" With that, she fired a shot right into Laura's leg.
Clutching her leg, Laura let out a bloodcurdling scream. The excruciating pain that came with the blood seeping out nearly made her pass out.
After recovering from the initial pain, she stammered, "P-Please don't kill me…"
Ivy stared her down and snapped, "So this is your day, huh? Crawl over and beg Noelle to come out, or I'll finish you off right here."
