"It's about time for her to start suspecting us. However, there's nothing she can do about it. Besides, she was involved in the accident back then, and I'll never let her go," said Noelle.
Carl pursed his lips and said, "You're right. We should make those who made our family miserable pay for what they've done.
"They tricked us all in our previous lives. That was why you died a horrible death and why the Liddells were ruined."
Noelle looked at him and said, "The Liddells were ruined after I died last time? Didn't you guys get everything you wanted by humiliating me with Xenia?"
"It might've seemed like it, but everything changed after we learned the truth. Xenia overthrew the Liddell family, and she stole everything from us with her father. There was nothing we could do at all."
"It sounds like you guys got what you deserved in the end," Noelle said mockingly.
"That's right. After you died, life was miserable for us. We lived in deep regret, but no one could do anything about it. Fortunately, we have the chance to right our wrongs now."
Noelle turned to him and said, "I'm only trying to make it up to myself, and it has nothing to do with you guys. If I rely on you guys, I'll definitely die again."
"Sorry," Carl said, feeling guilty.
"If you really want to make it up to me, find a way to make him wake up soon. Then, our relationship can continue in this manner in the future. It's the best for both of us."
"Can't we go back to how it was before?" he asked.
"What do you think?" Noelle left after chuckling mockingly. Carl turned to look at Cedric, who was still on the bed and saw the latter's finger moving a little.
Then, he said softly, "Did you hear everything? It doesn't matter.
