Mia tidied her hair and slowly walked forward to the center of the living room. Then, she poured herself a cup of coffee.
After that, she turned to Noelle and said, "What do I need to admit to? All I did was help Ivy keep a secret. I didn't know this had anything to do with your parents, so do you really have to be so mad at me?"
Still feeling angry, Noelle scoffed and approached Mia, glaring at her. "But you knew how important Xenia's matter was to me. Since you knew where she was, why didn't you tell me?"
"As I've said, I was keeping a secret for someone else, so how could I possibly tell you? I didn't do it on purpose."
Seeing how they were fighting, Ivy felt way better. The fight was as exciting as she had expected.
Then, she said pretentiously, "Ms. Liddell, didn't you say you wanted her to choose between us? You should know the answer now, right? You've always been using her. Do you really think Mia is that dumb?"
Noelle turned to Ivy and said, "Shut up! You can't break our relationship with just a couple of words."
"Ms. Liddell, you need to wake up and face the truth." Ivy clearly looked pleased.
Meanwhile, Noelle still looked furious. She grabbed Mia's hand and said, "Is it hard for you to make a choice because she's here?
"In that case, let's talk outside. I'll never believe that you don't care about our years' worth of friendship."
She was emotional as she spoke and pulled Mia toward the door. However, Mia just stood there and said, "There's no need to go out there. I'm staying here."
"This is absolutely necessary! We're heading out and clearing things right now!"
Mia sounded a little frustrated now. "I'm not going!"
