After Noelle left the cafe, she looked at the sky. Judging by what Blake had told her, she figured Xenia had been reborn after experiencing a life-death experience while giving birth.
Unfortunately for Xenia, her rebirth meant nothing, and she couldn't change anything.
However, it also meant that Noelle couldn't hide her rebirth from Cedric any longer. She hadn't thought about how she would tell him about it. After all, those who never experienced it themselves would think it was impossible.
Noelle thought she could tell him about the rebirth after everything with PZ Group had ended.
As Blake watched Noelle leave, he slapped himself in the face. However, the pain he felt was nothing compared to what she had experienced in the past.
After that, he went straight back to the Liddell residence, ready to punish Xenia. Then, he would send her back to the Parhams. Since that was what Noelle told him to do, he figured she had something planned.
However, as he walked toward the basement, he noticed the door to the basement was open. Xenia was no longer there. Upon seeing this, he became anxious and asked Barnaby, "Where's the woman in the basement?"
Barnaby said with a deadpan face, "Ms. Quigley is currently resting in her old room."
"Didn't I say I want her locked up in the basement? Who told you guys to let her out?"
"It was Mr. Donovan."
"Donovan, huh? Why did he do that?" Suddenly, Blake had a bad feeling.
Then, Barnaby said, "When Mr. Donovan came back and heard that Xenia was here, he went straight to the basement. I don't know what they talked about, but he let Xenia rest in her room after that."
