No Divorce? The Billionaire's Love Chase! novel Chapter 121

Late that night, in Blue Bay Estates.

It was the new home York had just moved into recently.

He didn't give Claudia a chance to struggle, carrying her straight into the bedroom.

Before she even knew what was happening, York had her pinned down on the bed, her hands trapped above her head.

She lay beneath him in the most intimate and humiliating position, her face flushed with anger. "York, let me up!"

One of his hands imprisoned hers above her head, while the other gripped her slender waist.

Whether it was the alcohol or something else, York's eyes were alarmingly red.

He stared down at her furious gaze, their eyes locking as the intensity in his deepened, turning scorching hot.

His breathing grew heavy, and he leaned down instinctively.

As their breaths mingled, Claudia turned her head to avoid him.

A fleeting kiss landed on her elegant jawline. She struggled, biting down hard on his shoulder.

A sharp pain shot through York's shoulder, but he didn't let go.

Instead, desire flickered in his gaze, his voice a low, testing murmur. "Stay tonight. Let me draw you a bath."

Claudia knew York had had a lot to drink.

But whether he was truly drunk or just pretending, she couldn't stay. "Aren't you afraid of hurting Ann if you do this?"

Feeling her resistance, York slowly pushed himself up.

Claudia seized the opportunity, wriggling free and scrambling off the bed.

Just as she expected. The moment she mentioned Ann, he stopped touching her.

He raised a hand to wipe away her tears. "Is this why you're being difficult? Threatening me in front of my family, trying to ruin my reputation?"

Claudia shoved him away in disgust. "How many times do I have to say it? I'm not being difficult or throwing a tantrum. I really want a divorce!"

They stared at each other, tears of fury streaming down Claudia's face.

York gazed at her quietly for a long moment before grabbing her wrist again and pulling her into the study.

He took the divorce agreement and the bank card from a drawer.

In front of her, York fed the divorce papers into a shredder.

Then, he held the bank card out to her. "I won't pretend Ann and her son don't exist, and I admit I used our money to help them. But that was just me looking out for them, nothing more. We're only friends."

Claudia refused to take the card. "Who are you trying to fool, York? 'Just friends'? What a pure friendship that must be! So your son just fell from the sky, is that it?"
