Nan Chen frowned slightly at the sight of her.

He had thought that this woman was special, but she turned out to be so shallow instead.

Nan Chen knew he was good-looking, but she didn’t have to humiliate herself like that.

She stared at his face for a full minute, and felt like she might start to drool at any second.

Nan Chen got goosebumps from his own imagination.

Nan Chen rubbed his left arm that was aching from the fall, and stared deeply at Ning Ran.

“Then, he knocked me out with a drugged handkerchief and locked me in the storage room. Luckily, I didn’t inhale too much of it, so I was able to wake up quickly and escape.”
