My Wife is a Hacker (Nicole Riddle and Jared) novel Chapter 3280

Chapter 3280

Lawrence knew Nicole would be upset, so he didn't insist she stay. "Alright then, you rest,” he said, getting up to leave.

He understood she needed time, especially since he could easily control her. He was confident she would give in once Nolan and Lana arrived.

As Lawrence walked away, Nicole's expression turned cold. 'Lawrence, you shouldn't have brought Nolan and Lana into this.'

Pretending to sleep until the noises outside stopped, Nicole peeked out and saw the guards. They were still there, but they had nodded off, giving her an opportunity.

After securing the door, Nicole retrieved her hidden watch and sent a message.

Meanwhile, Doretta knocked on Jared's door. "Nicole sent a message." "Come in," Jared's voice came from inside the room, prompting Doretta to enter, followed by Charlie.

Jared stood by the window, gazing outside into the night.

Turning at the sound of their entrance, Jared asked Doretta, "Where is she?" "Nicole sent her location but said not to rescue her yet," Doretta replied, looking conflicted after sharing the location.

She asked, "Should we follow Nicole's lead?" She believed Nicole had another plan, hence her instruction not to attempt a rescue just yet.

Jared narrowed his eyes slightly, trying to stay calm. "Well follow her lead."

He was eager to rescue Nicole but understood her instructions must have a reason. Acting impulsively could jeopardize her plan.

"No need," Jared shook his head.

He understood Nicole's intentions. Lawrence would likely be wary of him and monitor his movements. Doretta, however, was a different matter.

Even if Lawrence was aware of Doretta's existence, he might not anticipate her being in Mecrounia, making her actions more discreet.

"Okay, then I'll leave you to it," Doretta said before exiting the room.

Jared was left alone, radiating a chilling resolve.

After Doretta stepped out, Charlie asked, "Is she alright?” "She's safe for now," Doretta replied with a grave expression. "But I still think we should resolve this quickly. The longer it drags on, the more dangerous it becomes for her." "Did she mention any other plans?” Charlie frowned, concerned.
