After the incident concluded, everyone returned to the hotel.
Theo had already gone ahead while Clint still needed to handle a few matters. Only Nash and the remaining four were left in the hotel.
Nash woke up to the sound of a ringing phone. He answered the call. To his surprise, it was Fogort on the other end.
"Hello? What's up? Why didn't you just come knock on the door?"
Fogort replied, "Sorry, but I've already left."
Nash sat up suddenly. "Left? Where to?"
"I don't know. I'm just wandering around."
"Did Whistler and the others leave too?"
"They didn't. It seems they have something they don't want me to know. I'm fine with it, but I wanted to chat with you before I go anywhere else."
"Sure, let's talk."
"Master Calcraft, I want to confirm something. You currently possess both the Heaven-Shaking Tome and the All Souls Token, right?"
Nash nodded without hesitation. "Yeah, what about it?"
"Do you understand the significance of that?"
Nash replied confidently, "I think I do. I'm the heir of the human emperor..."
Fogort corrected him, "You should say you're the new human emperor."
"Okay, and then what?"
Fogort suddenly said softly, "Now, try to see if you can still use your previous powers."
"Alright, Master Calcraft, I don't have much advice left for you. Let's just say, you're no longer the kind of person I can comprehend. I now understand why I couldn't grasp your fate.
"Of course, that's no longer important to me. Master Calcraft, here's my last piece of advice—no matter what, the Six Ritualistic Weapons are still the Disaster Magnet. Remember that."
After that, Fogort hung up. He stepped to the roadside and hailed a cab.
"Where to, sir?"
"Let me think..."
...
Back in the hotel, Nash ended the call and sat on the bed, lost in thought. Suddenly, he heard a knock at the door.
Nash opened the door to find Whistler, Aurora, and Linden standing outside.
