I couldn't see the reason why he said that at first, but since Sawyer had a weird expression, I peeped over behind him.

Then, I saw Hendrix. He was wearing a casual suit and cutting the steak gracefully. He sat by the restaurant's window, and the person sitting opposite him wasn't Andrea, but a girl I had met twice before. I didn't really know her, but I could still recognize her.

She was Chloe, Richard's niece.

I picked up the phone and heard his clear voice, "Come in and eat together."

"I'm here with my friend. I don't think it's convenient."

Both of us had something to discuss with others, so I really felt that it wasn't a convenient occasion to dine together.

He wasn't surprised that I knew. He stared at me and continued, "Yeah, that's normal. But what's odd is that my mother also plans to move Clark Group's headquarters to Jarold City."
