When someday everyone left in sorrow, even if the Cullen Family and its reputation were still here, that was just an empty shell, an empty house.
Other than being lamented for its former glory, what else could it be?
Nothing.
Alice stayed in the study room for a very long time. She didn't know how she left, but she felt as if she was walking on ice.
When she walked out, it was already 3 in the morning. The servants had already woken up by this time and were getting busy.
Most of them were busy with David's engagement ceremony.
Although the ceremony was not held in Cullen Family, all the items had to be prepared, so the servants were extremely busy.
Alice stood on the stairs and looked at them, the servants were carrying pots of fresh flowers, no matter how bright the flowers were, she still felt depressed.
Her expression was blank.
"Alice!"
A flustered voice sounded behind her.
Alice turned her head around and saw William standing at the top of the stairs barefooted, staring at her with.
"William."
Alice looked at him.
William immediately ran down and stood in front of her, staring at her: "Where did you go, I thought you ran away!"
"I won't run."
"Who knows, a woman like you can't be scolded. If you are scolded, you might run away!" William pressed a hand on her head with a hint of nervousness in his heavy breathing.

He was still thinking about reprimanding her last time. She did not even care about it anymore. Just as Alice was about to say something, William muttered, "Shit! Why did you make me so scared? If I knew earlier, I wouldn't have scolded you!"
Hearing this, Alice felt funny. She raised her head from his embrace and looked at him, "I was just walking around, I didn't run."
"You tried to run last time.'
"Last time, I didn't want to leave without telling you. I wanted to pack my luggage before telling you."
"Is there any difference?" William glared at her, "If you want to run, is there a difference whether you tell me or not? Did I allow you to run? Listen up, I won't scold you in the future, but you're not allowed to run!"
Alice laughed, "Alright, I won't run."
With that, Alice heard the sound of something heavy landing on the ground from the hall below. William looked over unhappily and saw a servant dropped a flower pot onto the ground.
"Why moving these before dawn? All of you, scram back to sleep!" William roared unhappily.
The servants were all shocked, they looked up at them and lowered their heads, "Sorry, Second Young Master, these are all flowers that Eldest Young Master needs to use on his engagement ceremony."
The Eldest Young Master was going to get engaged the day after tomorrow.
"Scram!" William roared impatiently, "No one is allowed to move these! All of you, go back to sleep!"
The servants looked at each other, then they all ran away.
Alice looked at William. William's expression was extremely bad.
Even if the servants were not allowed to carry the flower pots, this engagement ceremony would happen.
After the engagement ceremony, it was impossible for William to take the position, even if he wanted to. If he did not change the current situation before the engagement, then David's and Elizabeth's tragedy would be certain.
Until now, William still did not know how absurd Elizabeth's idea was.
"William."
Alice said as she looked at William's face.
"What?"
"I want to tell a big lie. Can you help me?" Alice asked.
William stared at her, and without any hesitation, he replied, "I will."
"You don't even ask what kind of big lie it is?" Alice replied with a question, "I also don't know what consequences this lie will bring about."
She was afraid that she would fail once again.
William stood on top of the stairs as he looked at her, "Alice, remember this, as long as you don't leave me, I will forgive you no matter what you do."
Anything can be forgiven.
She involved his brother in this and she made him angry for a while. But in the end he was so scared that he was afraid that she would run away.
"Your bottom line is really low." Alice could not help but ask.
"I had you, I wouldn't even need to have one!" William pulled her into his embrace, "Let's go and have a nap, we'll talk about this lie again."
"Alright."
Alice followed William and left.
The sun shone brightly, Kathy ran around happily in her new dress, like a cute little butterfly.
Holy also donned a new set of clothes, standing quietly by the side, watching Kathy Play.
David brought Kathy and Holy and walked forward.
Good.
It was good for William to let it go, he focused on living his life with Alice instead of caring about him.
The family only needed to be in charge of him-a former deserter.
"You're going to have a lot of babies, are you?" Kathy suddenly raised her head and asked naively.
David lowered his eyes to look at her and shook his head, "No, there's no need to give birth to so many kids, one will be enough. In this way, you two will be free in the future."
"Why?"
Kathy asked in confusion, why was it that she could be free once Uncle had a kid? How strange.
Holy looked up at David, deep in thought.
"There's no reason why. You'll understand when you grow up." David smiled and said, as he led them away.
Not far away, cars were already prepared with bodyguards lined up.
"Eldest Young Master."
Seeing David and the others coming over, the group of people bowed one after another. Someone opened the door of the car, "Eldest Young Master, get in."
"Yes."
David said. He turned to look at the direction of the ancient castle and asked: "Where are William and Alice?"
"Second Young Master still has some work to do. He said that he will go later." The servant replied.
So busy?
Or was it to deliberately avoid participating in his engagement ceremony?
He was fine, but his mother would feel uncomfortable when she saw this.
Forget it, William always did things his own way. Mother should already be accustomed to it.
"Then that's it. Holy and Kathy will leave in my car." David said, and took the initiative to carry Kathy and put her in the car, while Holy climbed up himself.
"Let's go."
David said, he opened the car door and was about to go in, when he heard the servant's voice: "Second Young Master."
David turned around and saw William dressed neatly as he walked over.
