My Lord, My Billionaire Master novel Chapter 622

In the middle of the night

She turned and looked at William, who was standing there. He swung his fist at the wall.

"What happened to you tonight? It seems you are extremely agitated when mentioning your brother." Alice looked at William.

At the start, William was still fine, she could tell that he controlled his emotions well. Even when he was going tit for tat with Elizabeth, his tone was cold and indifferent, but his voice got louder and louder and finally "exploded".

"Nothing."

William sat down on and said solemnly, "Come here."

Alice walked to his side. William wrapped his arms around her waist, firmly hugging her. "She has always been in good health, after being in the Cullen Family for so many years, she has encountered many things. In the end, she fainted without any signal."

Alice let him carry her and turned her eyes and looked towards Elizabeth, then said, "This is how parents are like, they always feel like they are still standing there majestically and nothing will happen to them. Every single day, they are calm and peaceful like the same way, but when one glances at them once, he would realize that they have unknowingly become old."

Aging was something that one could not guard against.

Alice reached out her hand to hold William's face and made him look up at her. Four eyes met and she said in a gentle voice, "I don't know if it's a good thing, but after Mona trapped you for four years, you become much stronger than before. I think you are able to control your emotions, so just be more patient with your mother in the future, don't be so aggressive."

The traditions of the previous generation were so deep-rooted that they were hard to change easily.

"As long as she doesn't restrain you, I will."

William said. He had his own bottom line.

"I'm fine." Alice smiled and said, "Although I do not understand how important fame is, but seeing that they value it so much, perhaps I really should adjust myself."

"What do you have to adjust?" William glanced at her, "If you change yourself to someone who lives for her reputation, are still my woman?"

Towards these words, Alice had nothing to say.

" Alright, I don't know what to say."

It was as if anything had two sides.

As the two talked, Daniel and Charles brought the doctor in to give Elizabeth another detailed examination.

The doctor gave Elizabeth an injection.

Alice's stomach made a ruckus again at an inopportune time, she was hugged by William: "Come, let's go eat."

"Alright."

Alice nodded, she was really too hungry and needed to eat.

She was carried out of the room by William. She subconsciously glanced at the two sides of the walkway, and William lowered his gaze to look at her, "What are you looking at?"

"Father-in-law hasn't come yet."

She had been waiting in her room for a long time, but she did not see Master Cullen come over to see his wife. Even though something big had happened at the wedding, she had never seen Master Cullen appear.

It was strange.

"He might have something else to do."

William said in a low voice.

What could be more important than having one's wife faint twice?

Alice frowned, she wanted to say something but it seemed like she was creating trouble, so she asked, "How is the relationship between your father and mother?"

"Not bad, why do you suddenly ask this?" William asked.

"I'm just asking."

Alice said.

"Their marriage was arranged and their relationship was not bad. Mother had always listened to father, they didn't argue." William said.

Alice nodded and did not ask further as she followed him towards the dining hall.

When they just arrived, maids immediately brought the dishes over. Alice raised her hand and let the maid wipe her hands.

"Eat."

William said.

Alice nodded, she picked up her knife and fork and started to eat.

William was not interested in dinner not cooked by Alice. He ate a few bites, then glanced at her. "Mother is that kind of person, you don't have to take her words seriously."

She felt sorry for her.

Hearing this, Alice smiled, "I'm fine, I won't speak to you if I mind it. She has her own principles, I understand."

"When she wakes up, I'll take you back to San Francisco. We'll have the wedding then."

William said.

"I don't care about the wedding. We just need to register it ourselves. I don't want to have it so grand. It's too troublesome and too tiring." Alice said. "Besides, Mother's condition isn't too good right now, I think you should guard her for a while."

"You don't like it here." William stared at her and said.

"But I like you." Alice watched him as she quickly replied.

She was willing to accompany him wherever he was.

William looked at her as he smiled, "Well said."

The room was dark again.

Alice yawned, then turned on a light and sat up from the bed. She leaned on the bed and looked at William.

Alice looked at her own phone and said, "What's wrong? Are you doubting me? Wake up in the middle of the night and check my phone?"

"Nope."

William answered.

"What did you find out? I have another man?" Alice asked with a ridiculing tone.

"How dare you!" William glared at her fiercely, "I'll kill you!"

"Can you bear it?"

William lowered his eyes and stared at her, and then covered her lips, "I'll kill you on the bed!"

With that, Alice was suppressed by him.

"Mmm mmm."

She had originally wanted to ask, but she forgot.

The next day, birds chirped outside the window and the sun shone brightly.

When Alice went to visit Elizabeth, she was already awake. She was sitting on the bed resting.

Seeing her, Elizabeth's eyes contained unhappiness.

"Mother, are you alright?" Alice walked over and asked.

"I'm fine that as long as he did not kill me." Elizabeth said as she looked at her, "William let get up so early?"

"There are still some guests at home. I woke up earlier to arrange for them to stay. I come to hear your opinion." Alice said.

Hearing that she still cared about Cullen Family, Elizabeth relaxed and said: "Alright, speak."

"I would like to arrange it this way. Mother, you are not feeling well. As for the guests, I have prepared some gifts. For the wedding, we can delay it or not have it at all."

Alice stood there and said. Elizabeth nodded as she listened to her, "Just do as you say. No matter what others are saying behind our backs, we must maintain our etiquette."

Elizabeth did not forget about etiquette even at this time.

"Alright. Then rest well, I'll come and see you later."

Alice turned and left.

"When are you leaving?" Elizabeth's voice sounded from behind her, her tone was filled with sorrow.
