"I'm sorry."
Alice wiped his tears away, but the tears flowed down again.
William picked up the pen and signed. But suddenly his back sank, and the pen he lifted went onto the edge of the paper.
Alice suddenly bent over and hugged him from behind, pressing her entire body against his back and hugging him tightly. She choked with sobs.
William sat there, watching the stroke that was crooked, and wanted to reprimand her. Her tears fell on his clothes.
He suddenly stopped talking.
Alice stood there and hugged him tightly, her body trembling intensely.
She was too stupid and had done so many wrong things, but luckily he was still there.
Alice, if you were to miss him, your death wouldn't be worth it.
"What's the matter with you?"
William frowned, and turned to look at her.
Alice was still hugging him tightly, her tears flowing uncontrollably. She whispered, "William, I just found out that I did a lot of wrong things."
"What is it?" William frowned, "Where have you been?"
Alice laid on his shoulder and shook her head, "I feel so uncomfortable, William."
As William listened, he wanted to push her away. After thinking for a while, he gave up.
"William, believe me. I will definitely be your rich lady." Alice said, "Whether you want me to be a butler or you want me to take care of our family wholeheartedly and even you have to use our marriage to take N.E. back, I wanna do whatever you want."
She suddenly thought of this?
William sat there, allowing her to hug him tightly. He looked at the slanted handwriting on the document, and wondered what had happen to her.
William couldn't do that.
Alice held William for a long time, until the secretary came to urge him on the next activity. Then she stand up and wipe her tears away, "Then quickly sign it. I still need to supervise the process of the garden
construction."
William glanced at her as a trace of bewitchment flitted across his eyes. He swallowed down the words that were about to speak, picked up the pen, and signed it.
"Then I'll go. Come back early for dinner tonight."
Alice packed the documents, then bent down to kiss his face. Her eyes were still swollen, and she forced out a small smile. "Bye.”
With that, Alice left with the documents.
William sat in front of the desk, his fingers caressing his face. He has maintained this posture for a long time.
Alice returned home.
Kathy and Holy had just finished their lessons. One was sitting in front of the chess board studying the international elephant symbol while the other was carrying a balloon and running around. Seeing Alice coming in, the two looked at her, and Kathy's eyes filled with cowardice.
Seeing the two doing their own things, Alice was in a mess. She did not bother them and walked through the living room.
Seeing that Alice had left, Kathy lost all interest in playing. She handed the balloon over to the maid and sat down cross — legged on the ground beside Holy.
"Is Mom still mad at me?"
Kathy looked depressed.
Ever since her stealing incident has been discovered, Alice had taught her a lesson and hadn't smiled at her for a few days. Even if she had accompanied her to read, Alice still wouldn't smile.
She knew that Mom must still be angry with her.
"She cried."
Holy said as he sat there. His cool face has no expression, and his small hands held onto a chess piece which was placed on the board.
"She's even crying?" Kathy looked at him in shock. No wonder Mom's face was wet and her eyes were swollen. Thinking about this, Kathy rubbed her hands nervously, "Then what should I do? Mom must be crying from anger. She won't love me anymore."
Kathy had already been anxious for a few days.
Holy turned and looked at his sister.
Kathy grabbed his hands and shook them, "Holy, what if we did something wrong? She won't forgive us, will she? "
The chess piece in Holy's hand fell to the ground. Seeing her crying expression, he stood up from the carpet and said, "Then I'll go and apologize to her, and ask for her forgiveness."
"I'll go with you."
Kathy stood up quickly.
The moment Alice went back to her room, she collapsed on the bed. Her head was so hurt that it felt like it was about to explode.
Alice placed the phone beside her ear, and heard Daniel's voice, "Alice, I feel that Walker is right. Young Master has always been proud and arrogant, but if he know that he has been played by a woman for four years. He would denied it or lost his mind, so don't tell him for now."
"I understand. I will accompany William." Alice laid on the bed, her hands touching her own swollen eyes, "But what about Mona? I really cannot tolerate her doing such a thing. I wish I could kill her right now."
Alice never thought that Kathy would take the initiative to apologize to her. In the past few days, she had been busy with medical records and the matter of the butler, and also wanted to teach the two children a lesson.
However, she could not do anything to beat or curse people. She could only keep her face cold. She thought that the two children were too young to notice this.
Alice pulled Kathy's small hand, allowing her to stand at attention. Her red eyes looked at Kathy, "Do you really know your wrongs?"
"Yes."
Kathy nodded fiercely.
"Then from now on, will you still take other people's things?" Alice asked seriously.
"I won’t. I'm not taking it." Kathy immediately shook her head.
"What if you take it again?"
Alice asked.
Kathy looked at her weakly and whispered, "Then don’t love me forever."
"Alright. That's a deal." Alice said as she hooked her finger with Kathy's, then revealed a smile towards her. "Kathy, I'm very happy that you realized your fault. I love you guys.”
"Then don't cry anymore." Kathy carefully looked at her and caressed her face and eyes that were swollen like walnuts. "I won't do anything wrong in the future. I feel so sad if you are sad.”
As Kathy spoke, she pouted her lips and tears started to roll down her cheeks. Her voice was choked with sobs.
Alice finally understood why Kathy came over to apologize.
"Don't cry, don't cry." Alice pulled Kathy and wiped her tears, then looked at her and said, "Do you know why I named you Kathy?"
Kathy shook her head as she wiped her tears away with her small hands.
"Because you are my sunshine, which is bright and full of hope. Every time I see you, it's like seeing the brightest sunlight. " Alice said gently, as she helped her wipe her tears.
"Then I don't want to cry, and I want to be the most beautiful sunshine."
Kathy blinked her eyes when she heard this, as if she understood.
"Sure." Alice smiled and nodded, then turned and looked at Holy, whose smile had slowly calmed down.
Holy stood there expressionlessly, looking at the two of them.
Kathy looked at her, then looked at Holy, and hurriedly said, "Mom, don't be angry at Holy. He didn't want to steal the candy."
