Zorion's eyes stared in confusion.
Just then, Yuliana realized how big of a fool he was!
"This fool. He probably doesn't know what resign means!"
Yuliana knocked harshly on Zorion's head and said bluntly, "You're brother is going to die! You still have an appetite knowing this?! You're just going to wait here while your brother loses his life?! None of us will have a good life after he's gone!"
Zorion understood now. He began to panic.
Later that evening, Tremaine returned to the Quartley Palace at 8:30pm.
After Tremaine stepped out of the car, Sheldon immediately called Hogan to find out how the talk went.
Hogan let out a long sigh,
Sheldon's heart skipped a beat.
It seemed that it hadn't gone well.
"Mr. Welment, is he still going to resign?" Sheldon asked.
"Yes." Hogan replied directly, "Mr. Hawls, we should prepare to assist the new president."
Sheldon's heart sank.
Assist the new president?
He couldn't do that!
In Sheldon's opinion, there was only one person who was president, Tremaine Quartley!
Tremaine was his leader!
"Mr. Welmert, is there no way to negotiate with him?" Sheldon asked.
Hogan sighed again and said, "Mr. Hawls, instead of worrying about him remaining as president, you should worry about his life."
"Mr. Welmert! What do you mean by that?" Sheldon exclaimed.
Hogan explained with some difficulty, "I'm afraid that he has decided to join Miss Cowell in the afterlife."
Zorion followed Tremaine inside. As he walked, he then asked, "But why would she say such nonsense?"
"She must be mistaken." Tremaine replied.
Zorion then said, "Of course, my wife was mistaken. I'll tell my wife that she was mistaken. I'll tell her that Tremaine isn't going to die. He's so healthy, there's no way he would die. Tremaine, you are going to live for a very long time."
Tremaine stopped and said, "Brother."
Zorion stopped and looked at Tremaine.
"I will be going away to do something that will take a very long time. You might not ever see me again."
"Where are you going?"
"Someplace very far away."
"How long will it take you?" Zorion didn't find this suspicious at all.
Tremaine said faintly, "It will take a very long time. From now on, if you wonder where I am, just remember that I am somewhere very far away."
