The next day, Rorita told Weverly about it. When Weverly heard that Madam Quartley liked the taste of it, she immediately sent people out to buy more of it.
This round, not only were there cheese cakes but also several other desserts.
Madam Quartley ate all of it and thought they tasted great.
Hence, she ordered the housekeeper to switch all the desserts in Quartley Palace from previous shops to this specific one.
The Quartley Palace had a steady flow of dessert supplied to them each day. Previously, they had their desserts supplied by a famous bakery back at Nashaland. Madam Quartley had been a fan of them for a long time until she tasted the dessert Waverly sent to her. She couldn't believe how tasty they were and thus wanted to change supplier to them.
Upon receiving Madam Quartley's orders, the housekeeper immediately contacted the other party.
The other party happened to be Preslie.
Preslie was now in charged of this bakery.
Apart from walk-in customers, there were several big companies who placed bulk orders with them too. Preslie was responsible for collecting the orders, which was why the housekeeper came in touched with Preslie.
When Preslie found out that the order came from Quartley Palace, she widened her eyes.
The Quartley Palace?
Why was it the Quartley Palace?
Was it Tremaine again?
Preslie was annoyed and angry.
Why wouldn't Tremaine give up already?
He was already married, yet he still wanted to pursue Yesseca!
Preslie immediately called Sheldon and scolded Sheldon on the phone. Sheldon on the other hand, was nothing but confused.
Sheldon felt that Preslie was being quite unreasonable.
Tremaine was really busy these days and Sheldon could confirm it. This was because he had been accompanying Tremaine along at his work. He knew that Tremaine was not in the mood for desserts, nor had he sent anyone to order Yesseca's desserts!
"Is there a mistake?! Mr. Tremaine did not send anyone to order your desserts," Sheldon said.
"How can I be wrong?" Preslie said, "It is clearly someone from the Quartley Palace. That person even asked us to send desserts to the Quartley Palace everyday! If it's not Tremaine, who else!?"
"There must be a mistake!" Sheldon said, "Mr. Tremaine did not ask anyone to send the desserts, I am sure of this."
"There isn't a mistake!" Preslie insisted, "Sheldon, please tell Mr. Tremaine to stop whatever he's trying to do!"
Sheldon was speechless.
He could not help but said, "Preslie, I think you are too over your head. I don't think Mr. Tremaine has any intentions of doing anything to Yesseca!"
