Willow let out a sullen harumph.
Her beauty was something not everyone could appreciate.
However, when she had observed Jasper up close just now, she couldn't help but notice that he bore a striking resemblance to Tristan.
His eyebrows and expression... it was like looking at Jasper and a miniature version of him.
Could he really be the father of her children?
No, that couldn't be possible.
The distinguished CEO of Hughes Corporation would never visit such a modest place like her village!
It must be a mere coincidence in their appearances.
Willow took a deep breath to calm her still-racing heart and began to clean the restroom swiftly. She didn't want Jasper to return to use it again.
Two misunderstandings were enough.
A third would seem intentional.
After tidying up the restroom, Willow stepped out into the corridor and saw Edith and Tyson.
Edith asked sternly, "Mr. Ward, have you contacted those annoying kids' parents?"
Edith's expression was serious, and when she mentioned the annoying kids, her voice was filled with disdain. She wasn't speaking in a joking manner.
Hearing her words, Willow couldn't help but feel indignant for her children.
At the time, Edith and the children were in the office. The kids had said that a "bad lady" had scolded them, which had to be Edith.
What had she done to frighten her children to such an extent?
Not only had they been running amok in the office, but even when they returned home, a few of the kids were still visibly shaken.
She had inadvertently scared Willow's children, causing them to run amok in the CEO's office. And now, Edith was openly calling her children annoying!
In the face of Edith's hostile tone, Tyson furrowed his brow slightly but still answered her question, "Yes, I've contacted them. The parents will send money this afternoon and apologize in person."
He and Edith were colleagues, and they often had a lot of work-related interaction. So, sharing this information was fine.
"A single mother? What about the children's father?"
That was a detail Edith couldn't find, and she wanted to gather more information.
Knowing one's enemy was the key to victory.
When Edith asked her question, she was careful to hide her true feelings and intentions.
"When I talked to their mother, she mentioned that the children's father died by suicide," Tyson calmly revealed.
"He's dead?" Edith couldn't help but be shocked.
"Yes," Tyson confirmed.
Upon hearing this, Willow lowered her head and tried to minimize her presence as she quietly walked past them.
"Hey, Lara," Tyson suddenly called out to her.
