In the hotel room, Willow cried as the phone slipped from her hand and dropped onto the floor.
It was painful for her to cut off ties with Xavier.
She thought that no one could cause her to have any emotions since she had only been paying attention to her kids these years.
However, when she heard Xavier’s trembling voice, she felt pain in her heart.
As she had wished, Xavier would never appear in her life anymore.
From now on, they were strangers who were meant to lead a different life.
Willow smiled with tears rolling down her face. This was the best for them. She should be happy.
She wiped her tears and picked up her phone.
It was Rachel. She had been so sad that she didn’t notice her phone was vibrating.
She calmed down and answered the call.
“Willow, where are you? It’s so late now! Are you sleeping with Jasper at a hotel?” Rachel exclaimed.
Willow felt guilty instantly.
“Rachel, are you that dirty-minded? Why do you like to make dirty jokes whenever you call?”
Rachel’s words made Willow blush.
“I’m not a bimbo like you. Women are always at the losing end in bed.”
“So, did you sleep with him tonight?” Rachel asked curiously.
Willow choked on her question.
She thought of her kiss with Jasper.
She came back to her senses and hastily changed the topic, “Don’t make fun of me. I’m in a difficult situation.”
