Jasper had never imagined that Willow was the daughter of that hateful man.

He was in deep thought when his phone rang.

It was Frank.

He paused before picking up the phone.

“Jaz, it’s been a week. Have you got to know more about Willow?” Frank asked straight to the point.

“Grandpa, you should spend more time with Grandma if you’re free,” Jasper didn’t answer his question. He didn’t want his grandparents to worry about him.

“Alright. I’m not nagging. Rest early. I’m hanging up.” Frank sighed softly and hung up the phone.

Jasper tossed his phone aside and took a deep puff.

Willow walked around the hotel room restlessly.

She had just tried to go out again and was denied by the bodyguards.

She wondered if Jasper was going to keep her here forever.

It was 12:03 AM now, and she had to go home.

She told Lara that she would be back in a short while but she had been out for three to four hours.

Her phone rang in time.

“Hey, Mom.”

She called Jasper even though she was afraid of him.

Willow was nervous as she waited for him to answer the phone.

Jasper picked up the call after some time but he didn’t say anything.

Willow was anxious and she asked weakly, “Jasper…Mr. Hughes, I didn’t eat dinner. I was so hungry that I couldn’t think straight. Can I go out and buy something to eat?”

“You won’t die without taking one meal,” Jasper said coldly.

“No, I…” Willow was about to say something else but Jasper hung up the phone.

She wanted to call him again.
