Xavier stopped in his tracks.

He remembered Willow saying that she had a boyfriend but she wouldn’t tell him who he was.

He hadn’t noticed Willow hanging out with anyone either these days. He thought that she lied to him to make him stop pestering her.

He wondered if Willow still loved him if she hadn’t been in a relationship all these years. He just wanted to know if she still loved him.

Samantha moved closer to him once she saw him stop in his tracks.

Xavier looked at her with hatred. “Speak up!”

Samantha smiled brightly and said, “Treat me to something and I’ll tell you slowly.”

“What kind of tricks are you trying to pull again?” Xavier gritted his teeth.

“I’m hungry and I want to eat something. I’m so hungry that I can’t remember clearly, it would be bad if I missed out on something important about Willow,” Samantha smiled and winked at him.

She thought that she could seduce Xavier, but her actions made him sick. It took him great patience not to punch her in the face.

His curiosity about Willow won against his disgust toward Samantha.

“Where do you want to eat?” he asked angrily.

“I heard that The Cove had great food. Let’s go there,” Samantha said.

“Isn’t that a hotel?” Xavier grimaced and frowned.

“It's a restaurant with living accommodations. We will be only eating at the restaurant, what are you afraid of?”

Xavier took her there.

He wasn’t going to drink and Samantha wouldn’t have any chance to force herself on him today.

Xavier glared at her angrily, “She’s definitely cleaner than you no matter what!”

If it wasn’t for Samantha five years ago, he would have been happily married to Willow and had children by now.

He wouldn’t have to suffer because he couldn’t be together with Willow.

He wouldn’t even have to have a meal with a disgusting woman like Samantha.

Samantha was hurt by his words even though she was thick-skinned.
